Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Yes I have 8 atm
That may be the issue (or part of the issue). Adding the free line would require a plan change, which adds complexity. Two SOCs that worked for 9-12 lines in the past were FRLTULFM9 or TIULFM9. I changed from frltul4lp to FRLTULFM9 and was able to keep all prior free lines, insider discount, and kickback, but this was a year or two ago.

I have the T-Mobile One plan tax included but already have 8 lines. Chatted with Rep in T-Mobile app said my account is eligible, but she'll have to switch my plan over to the magenta one... Anyone has any pointers on how to add the free line but still retain my One plan??

This new information also includes language about the 12 month term. Contrary to previous info, it seems customers can cancel lines after 12 months has passed. This is good news for those wanting to close out a paid line after a while.

Also mentioned is the fact that the new DCC must be charged. This is a $35 "Device Connection Charge" that was recently created.
Can I cancel an existing 3yrs old magenta line after I get this free line? Or require to keep all lines for 12 months after free line is added

So I have 3 free line just laying aroung and not using them. Is there any benefits on getting one more if I am not going to use it or am I missing something?
It's free. So what are you losing by adding one more except the 35$ for activating the line.

Confirmed via chat and phone that I was eligible. Added the line online, but somehow it didn't charge me the $35 DCC.

You will need to keep all lines for 12 months after which you can cancel the old lines.

I think you need to have at least 2 paid lines though.

I was told that the account needed to have 12 lines or less across all devices (things like tablets, watches, TMHI, etc). It may qualify, if you are under that threshold. I have 14 total lines on my account
Max you can have is 12 voice lines

They don't waive it but gave me as a credit for being a loyal customer
