Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Been waiting 3 hours for a chat rep on Twitter . Called 611 (I know, major SD no-no), who said I am not eligible for it. Hoping the Twitter rep says otherwise.

I am currently on Magenta, so not expecting to get this one based on what I've read here.

I tried a few times in the past but never had luck regarding KB, but got One Plus Promo added to all but two lines that I added recently.

Kickback is still possible if you currently have it on your plan. Unfortunately, you just have to find a willing rep who has to get approval from supervisor.

I lucked out when I added a 3rd paid line last week and successfully added kickback and one plus promo.

The rep was the one who offered to add before I brought it up.

That may be the issue (or part of the issue). Adding the free line would require a plan change, which adds complexity. Two SOCs that worked for 9-12 lines in the past were FRLTULFM9 or TIULFM9. I changed from frltul4lp to FRLTULFM9 and was able to keep all prior free lines, insider discount, and kickback, but this was a year or two ago.
That's what the rep said earlier she could switch the plan soc to , FRLTULFM9. Damn looks like she knew what she was talking about

Max you can have is 12 voice lines
Rep said all lines count on the 12 or under. I have 10 voice lines but 1 TMHI, 1 Tablet, and 2 watch lines. Total of 14

I have the T-Mobile One plan tax included but already have 8 lines. Chatted with Rep in T-Mobile app said my account is eligible, but she'll have to switch my plan over to the magenta one... Anyone has any pointers on how to add the free line but still retain my One plan??
Same issue..they need to switch soc to FRLTULFM9

Yea. That's the problem. Unfortunately, you have to be willing to play rep roulette and Keep trying until you find a good rep.

I wouldn't take no for an answer. Since it's clear they are capable of doing it and are still offer it. Good luck.

6 voice line simple choice account here. No bueno. Tried chat through tmo app.

"There you go! Upon further review, we have seen quite a few requests for this offer, however that offer ID is not one that we have available. We do have many other offers available. Would you like us to find an offer that may be available to you?"

So I'm on a One Plus plan with kickback and 20% insider discount. The rep said that I would need to change my plan from my current one TIUL4L to a new one LTUNLFM9 that has a max 12 lines and I would be able to keep all my discount and promos. Not sure whats the difference between the one the Rep quoted LTUNLFM9 and what the others are showing FRLTULFM9. They said it would need to be approved and will take 5-7 days.

You will need to keep all lines for 12 months after which you can cancel the old lines.

I think you need to have at least 2 paid lines though.
That's a bummer. I have 6 magenta lines and wanted to drop one last yr but rep offered a credit plus 6 months free so I kept it. Was hoping I can replace the old one with a new free line 😞.

I have the T-Mobile One plan (account age 4 years) 6 paid lines.

I called in and I explained to the rep and she knew what I was talking about and she added the 7th line (free) $35 fee.

How do I cancel one of my lines and use this free one, how long do I need to wait?
Edit: I'm ok with the number one of my previous lines being changed.
