I contacted them via chat and here is what I was told.

"Upon checking here that your account it seems it is not yet eligible for your account/rate plan. No worries you will receive a notification if its eligible for you. Also this promotion is still in progress some customer might have it and some will might get it on the few days."
Was told the same. I am on Magenta Max, 4paid and 1 LOU. I guess we shall see if eligibility changes

Here's another data point for waiving the $35 activation fee. T-Force said the fee is not waivable on their end. However, they confirmed that as long as you first confirm the promo eligibility, you can order the new line on the website, and the system will automatically add the discount to the line.

So online order from our account will waive the $35 activation fee? Is it like that?!

just give them the imei of any old phone you have laying around, that you are not using. Once you get the sim card, you can call them back and put your current number on e-sim and use the physical slot with the new sim.

Not sure if they will let you put the new line as an esim on your current device, because it's not a "BYOD" phone.
Have an old android and might even have an unused sim laying around.. but i need both lines as esim because my iphone does not take regular sims..

I still don't see the new line on my account and it's been 6 hrs. However, the rep gave me an order number and I also got the confirmation email.

I paid the $35 directly not through monthly bills.

I wonder how long it would take for the new line to show up in my account.

Can anyone confirm?
Wait till next day - also in the order status it should show it's processed - you might just see a status on top right as Running

Go through chat in the T-Mobile app, took 5min to get my free line. I'm at 9 total lines (4 paid, 5 free) with Netflix premium and protection plan for 2 iPhones for $106.
