Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Did you activate esim? That was smooth. Twitter tforce also confirmed my account's eligible but I couldn't reach them after, hours waiting. Wondering if I should go ahead and order online by activating esim.
I did, took a chance on the Twitter TForce suggestion by doing it online & no DCC charge. I would do it as worst case is you cancel the line it they don't apply the promotion to you accounts.

How is the Promo supposed to look like... or I can find out if I am eligible.. without going all the way to add a line and then see ?

Glad it worked for you!
I'm really unsure what the criteria might be. It could possibly be based on eligible plans (ONE in this case seems to be eligible in your case) but being the lucky "randomly selected" account.
I chatted with 3 Tforce agents, all told me my plan is ineligible.
I chatted with 6 Tmobile App Chat agents, 3 told me I am eligible, 3 told me I am not eligible.
Spoke with one 611 agent who hadn't heard of the promotion and wanted to call me back on Monday.

I would take information provided by Tmobile App Chat agents with a grain of salt unless the promotions are already showing up! Tforce seem to provide the most reliable information.
Could be pot luck like you said. I have the agreement email this morning in my inbox and the charge of $37 bucks pending.

For those curious, signed up yesterday and didn't see the promotion added to my account. Today I woke up and "2022 BYOD Line P1" Enrolled is listed under my promotions.

For those on Amplified...which is limited to 8 lines...and are @ 8 lines (the maximum allowed under Amplified)...you WILL need to change your plan in order for this to work.
Amplified is usually a work sponsored plan, mine happens to be $30/line tax included w/ 40GB hotspot/line, NO prioritization ever, netflix included, in flight wifi, ...etc.

Amplified is actually better than Magenta max, which costs more. Yes, Max offers insider codes (Amplified does not) and can get add-a-line from time to time and I understand there are users paying unbelievably low amounts due to all the free lines they have. The rep only found regular magenta to be comparable to Amplified in the pricing.

I decided to pass on this change due to some heavy users on my plan ...was told after 100 gb data, they would be prioritized... they use 150 - 200 gb data and they avg 30 GB/month on their hotspot and would be unhappy after they hit the 5GB limit and prioritization kicked in.

IDK, am I making a big mistake by passing on this change???

Can anyone tell me how long it takes for the promo to show on your promotions tab? I got order confirmation of a Sim being shipped out but no promo showing on my account.

Not sure if agent did it right.

I called TMO about this promo at 3:01 PM yesterday; still not seeing anything as of this writing in the promo section of the TMO app.

I did receive two emails (order confirmation, service agreement) from TMO yesterday.

Cause for concern?

Me to. If you check your account it will show the new number. I'm going to the T-Mo store this morning to have them activate a Sim in store. Once the sim is activated we should see the promo.

I'm going to the store even though I'll get the Sim on Monday.
