Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Here is my story:

Started chat on tmobile phone app:

* told I was qualified
* I was asked to fill out a form
* first form filled but the payment didn't go through
* second form filled, payment went through
* received order confirmation email

Order confirmation email starts like this, instead of Dear jyqureshi:

Code:
Dear Someother Name

Thanks for choosing T-Mobile!

....
At the bottom I see order number, amount charged, last four of my CC

I went to check status of this order, nothing, however the charge shows as pending in Discover.

I decide to go in the store.

Store manager could not find this order under my account, however I see that I qualify for BYOD P1
I asked let's order here for BYOD P1.

15 minutes maximum, and I walk out with a new line activated on my extra phone.
Under my account, service promotions, I see 2022 BYOD P1 promotion.

Chat person probably messed up OR t-mobile's system messed up a few orders.

Easier to do it in-store than call or chat.
I did mine through chat. As soon as I got the order ID email, typed it into the order status and shows tracking info with delivery Monday.

Like another poster said, I'm just hoping/thinking they are bombarded with this new line promotion and it'll take the system a bit to update everything.

New prospective TMobile customer here. If I BYOD two devices on Magenta plan, can I get the 3rd line free?
This specific promotion is for existing customers. But T-Mobile does new customer free line promos all the time.

I chatted in the app and the rep told me I am eligible on my Magenta Plus plan with 3 paid and 4 free lines already. He ordered the additional line and I paid 35+tax. But I don't see the promotion listed yet. Do you have to wait till you receive the sim and activate it before the line and promotion shows up?

Thanks.
I just have the sim card on the way with no device attached yet. My account shows the phone number with unknown device listed. Did not change my plan pricing at all. Promo is now listed on my promotions tab. Took a day for it to show on my account.

I was thinking of caling to see if I am eligible. Once i confirm that I am, what do you think about going to costco to have them add the free line to see if I can get a BYOD Costco giftcard?

I went through 4 different credit cards, first 3 declined, 4th went thru, but it won't go thru adding a line. Was told to go to the store to get a line. I was so annoyed

I think they're getting hammered... I'm haven't gotten an "agent" on Twitter in over 10 hours...

Lol. That's what happens when the only way to check if you're eligible is to contact them.
The chat function in the app is quick, but the end result may be a waste of time if you get the wrong agent. My first attempt yesterday involved someone who said that it was expired, then that it didn't exist, and finally that it really really didn't exist. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Can I as an authorized person on the plan to add a line. I'm on my wife's plan, she's the owner of the account.

Costco kiosks went bankrupt earlier this month.

Your chat rep's order has to process and will eventually show as a new line on your account. The promo is limited to one per account, so you will end up having to pay for one of the lines.

Let's hope you canceling the extra line won't cause the billing system to disable the promo for this new line.
I think the tell tale sign that my order didn't go through is this:

* Order email had someone else's name on it
* Store couldn't find the order
* My Account profile on tmobile iPad kiosk didn't show anything pending

think what happened with my order is probably a mix up by the agent, may be working/chatting with me and another client and somehow gave me form for the other customer's profile. This kind of hiccup are rare through the system (referential integrity and all).

Yes. Same situation with wife being the account owner. I did it in-store versus online, but just showed my ID and they went ahead and added it.

If you do it through chat, they wouldn't know who is chatting right?
In store, as an authorized person, store associate will look at your state issued ID

My wife is the account holder, they had to speak with her on the phone to verbally agree to adding a new line. All she did was say yes, nothing personal was asked to identify herself other than her name.

The "ONE Plan All In Promo" plan does not qualify for this promotion per TMO support.
