Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

was able to add a line last night and waiting for physical sim to be shipped. the representative did not ask for imei of the byod phone.

once i activate it, does anyone know how long i have to port a number in (want to port from another carrier but there's still 2 months left on contract)?

thank you!

Finally, I was able to add a line with 2022 BYOD Line P1 through app chat, promo applied confirmed on My Promotions - Service promos tab.

NO IMEI asked, they could ship me a sim card for free, but I had one with me, so activated it.

I'm on Magenta 1.0 with 2 paid lines w/ insider discount since 2020 and 5 free lines, now 6 free lines.
Did you get charged $35 for adding the line ?

I was able to add a free 10th line on my account. I have the regular T-Mobile One plan.
You have to make sure they don't mess your discounts up... I have the soc TIULFM9.. it's for 9-12 lines and the "line on us" from previous deals transferred good

The customer dissatisfaction of the majority (?) not being able to get this promo seems to outweigh the goodwill I assume this was trying to create!

We called T-Mobile this morning and the T-Mobile representative Brain admitted that he just learned that this morning from their meeting. He added one line to our Simple Choice North America three paid lines and charged $35 (already shown up in my email notice).

It was meant to be rolled out as a hush hush style promo where customers talking to reps happened to be offered a free line.
But of course articles were written, discussions happened, and now everyone and their mom are contacting them for it.

Promo most likely won't work if you cancelled any lines within the last 12 months. Ask me how I know Frown

(I learned by making this mistake last year)
I thought it is last 90 days. Not sure if it applies here since it is targeted promo.

I have an SC plan as well and a supervisor said I don't qualify for this promotion. May have to try again later.

Does the discount already reflect on your online account?
