Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Very odd experience today. I reached out via chat in the app to follow up on yesterday's chat and ask how I would be notified if the promo suddenly came available to me. Complete disaster of an experience - she argued with me over whether the Essentials plan included tax or not, claimed the Magenta and Magenta MAX plans did not include tax, and stated that the reason I was not eligible was (a) I already have a free line, (b) I do not have the right kind of account and (c) I am not a targeted account.

I think they're just as confused as we are, folks.

I called the night before. They said they would ship a SIM to me. I saw the new number hit my account about 12-15 hours later (next day).

That's quite a combo you assembled there, well done. I don't think it does get any better than that. A keeper for life. ;-)

You should get notification of new line once the SIM ships

I was Tmobie One Plus promo customer, I got the free line added by rep. When I logged into my account the plan is now changed to Essentials 4 line offer. Did they screw this up?
you got screwed... mine still says One Plan after the promo 2022 BYOD Line P1 (Additional Lines) appeared.

"Requires paying one time DCC $35 fee (assited support). Unless you do the Self-Service add a device or line under My Account - BYOD esim option on your own, after confirming you are eligible."

Can anyone confirm this work and what is required? Do you need a phone with esim capability available right away or can you just get the free line and set up the phone later (after the promo period)?

Just another datapoint, after chatting through the T-Mobile app and getting the free line added to my account, it was around 14-15 hours before the new line showed up in my account details and the billing section under "Service promos" shows I have "2022 BYOD Line P1" enrolled on the new line. I have not received an email yet.

And to recap, I did not have the promo listed in the "Device promos" section of my account. I am a Magenta customer that joined T-Mobile Nov 2021 and had 2 paid lines and 1 free line… now I have 2 free lines.

I have SC NA since 2013. Total 9 lines with 4 being free added previously. I had chat via app few times and each time told my account is not eligible. T-Force via Twitter said same thing and same result when called 611. Today went nearby store and Rep said I am ELIGIBLE. got the Sim. Whole process took 15 min. Had to pay $35 DCC. I hope this Rep was right and I won't get surprise in the bill.

With TMobile for 7 years on SC plan with 8 lines, they offered me this deal. Just need to pay $35 + tax for sim activation.
