Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I did the same with the rep but I don't see it added to my account yet, is it not added until you pop it in/activate the sim?
I received the sim today. Yesterday, I checked my T-Mobile account via the app and it showed I now have 5 lines and it showed the new number.

So yours does not show at all?

Could that be a pro rated amount for the first month?
No, I had a lengthy chat. They see the issue and plan to fix it during off hours. He gave me an explanation as to its 120 for 3 lines and 20 for additional 4th line. Which would be free. So 120, and then 20% discount is $96. I told him and showed him what the previous agent wrote in the morning $80 for all 3 lines once you move to magenta and $20 for the 4th line. But since the 4th line is free now. It should be still $80. Not sure if I got through. But I figured I had time to chat and rep was really trying hard to understand and investigate. Let's see he is going to message in 48 hours. As I said , 96 is still great.

so do they send you the sim card and you just pop it into a phone to activate? Then the promo shows up on your account?
I added last night online, it was already popped up in my account this afternoon without receiving sim.

Seeing a lot of people on Reddit and a few on here with nerves of steel that after being told not elegible by several T-mobile Customer Reps went ahead and still added the line online and activated it with esim and got the promo.

Getting tempted to try it myself. There is a 14 days free refund period but they risk is that you could get blocked from any future promotion that requires no line cancelations on prior 90 days.
Told no on T-Force, told no on chat, told no via 611. Tmobile One w/ 3rd line free, 2 more free lines, and insider discount. Told a myriad of reasons from plan not eligible to not eligible because I already had a free line. At one point I was also told all accounts are eligible but not all accounts will show it yet. Based on other folks I decided to give it a try.

Added the line myself, $0 due today. Did an e-sim w/ my iPhone 14. I don't need the line, won't be needing one so figured might as well give it a try.

15 minutes after activating my eSim, I received a text saying I will receive my promotional discount. Checked my account:

"$30 2022 BYOD Line P1 (Additional Lines)"

I'm in the same boat. Can you please post the Reddit link? I was denied at least thrice on chat and 611

I am on Magenta plan with 3 paid and 6 free. Is there anyway I can replace paid line with new free line. (I confirmed my account qualification but haven't open new free line yet)

Were you able to add the line to your T-Mobile One plan, or is the line one of the Magenta ones?

Did you see at any point during the order process a promo or discount code? I am on a Magenta 55+ with only 2 paid lines. I went all the way to the last step to add a line and I see it will cost $35 a month. I was told I am ineligible by Tforce and T mobile chat.

Do need to select esim or can I select physical sim?

Where do I get the esim? It asks for device IMEI
select physical sim since you don't know where to get an esim.

Got the promo text and I also see $30 2022 BYOD Line P1 ( Additional Lines) in the 'Applied Discounts and promotions' section on the Plan page in my account. This is awesome. Hate T-Mobile for making it so difficult.

I was on Magenta Max with 2 paid, 1 free line, 1 paid watch line with Insider discount before adding this free line.

Anyone one with 55+ plan was able to add it through eSIM? My dad was denied by multiple reps previously.

Update: we tried and no go. Promotion didn't show up and the extra $30 charge for the line was just added to the account.
