Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I'll believe when I see it. Just ended a very lengthy chat with a rep who had a supervisor online. I'm on Magenta Max 55+, which I have been told was not eligible in two earlier chats and after being told no today, my account somehow became eligible while chatting. $35 fee is also not supposed to be charged. I was told it would be on my account tomorrow. I received SIM card confirmation for deliver this Thursday.

Anybody had any luck with adding the free line promo to a OnePlus 2 for 100 plan?
Im in the same situation 2 line Tmobile ONE for $100
Did you take the risk by ordering a sim card and see if you are qualified?

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna wait till tomorrow and maybe pull the trigger then.

Really miss the days when John Legere was CEO, back then he was on Twitter and Instagram all the time and would answer questions in there. Remember during one of the free line promos he was doing a cookout live on Instagram and answering questions about the promo there.
did you pull the trigger, from what I've been reading the plan is either expiring today or expired today..

I made the mistake of ordering a physical sim instead of esim 3 days ago thinking I had time to figure out if I qualified. Anyways, I see on email and online that they shipped it and a new line was added. However, I see no note of promotion online on my account and I haven't yet received a text about a new line. I'm scheduled to receive the sim on the 21st.

At this point, after receiving no notification of any promo, should I assume I'm out of luck?

BTW, I'm on SC plan with government discount and have been told multiple times I'm not eligible but decided to try the order online method. Thanks!

The rep I talked to was weird about the promo and all of it. Sort of didn't know about it and then said it's specifically targeted to certain customers

update: she just called me back and told me I was eligible! processed the order, said SIM card will be shipped! never judge a rep by their cover lol

Do you still get the gov discount on SC plan? I thought they ended that! I was kicked off my the discount a few years ago

Ok sorry I did it same way earlier no indication of promo been over a hour
looks like you are or were on the Military plan. Thank you for your service. I read that discounted plans like 55+, military, first responders, etc did not qualify. If it didn't stick and you want to move to the Magenta Max plan, go to a store and talk to a rep. They might be able to hook you up with an insider discount which should give you 20% off for your entire account for the life of your plan. I don't have the discount myself, but I read that some people have had that happen and with insider discount, autopay discount, taxes included, and some other benefits, that the magenta plans work out better for some people. Good luck and all the best.

In the app, when you go to BILL>VIEW MY DISCOUNTS & PROMOTIONS>SERVICE PROMOS do you see 2022 BYOD Line P1?

Having a physical SIM at hand will expedite in u getting the free line as fast as u can, and it showing up on ur account promos asap. Better than waiting for the SIM to be shipped; then u get the updates are qualifying or not. This route is not instant, and or not as efficient as having a new physical SIM at hand when ur calling in to the Customer Reps
Quote from wbs3333 :
If you have a unexpired sim at hand you can ask the customer rep to activate the line right away using that simcard. The reason people are doing this is to get the promo code on their accounts faster. If they have to send you a sim most likely the promo won't show until the simcard ships.
thank you both for the explanation. Do you know if you already have a SIM card and call them to add/activate a line, will they still charge you the $35 fee? Just curious : )

thanks again

Just to keep track on this... I also have had all my current service promotions drop off, and I believe it's a system problem since it shows both current and historical (previous?) service promotions as blank.

I will say that I was pretty pleased that the rep added the correct 10gb $0 data plan on my Simple Choice plan, and not some other one. It would be nice if it gets upgraded to "unlimited data" but I'll cross that bridge after my service promotions come back and I get a SIM in the mail. I ordered via chat before it was an option to order online.
So it looks like you got the promo then. I mentioned I have the same plan as yours and was sorta using you as a guinea pig to see if our plan qualifies but I just went ahead very early Saturday and ordered the like myself using esim so I didn't have to pay $35. No such luck for me, it's been a couple days and no promo indication on my account. I'll wait for my next bill cycle in 7 days to see if if I get it, if not I'll cancel

Does anyone know if I switch my service to T-Mobile (looking at Magenta Max, 3 lines - 2 paid and 1 free) with an insider code, would it be possible to get the byod free line? Or did it have to be active before they started offering it? Thanks.

IS Anyone with this plan $100 for 2 line Tmobile ONE successful?
I went ahead and tried adding the line anyways, even though I was told not eligible, I figured worth a try.

Added on saturday and no promotion showing or text, so as expected not eligible.

The last time these plans were given a fee line was around when they launched in 2017, so unlikely to ever get one unless included by accident.

My SOC code is FRLTUL2LP . Note if you already have 3 lines on this plan you cannot add anymore regardless if paid or free. Have gone as high as Legere's office / exec customer relations to see if they can fix but they will not.
