Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I have the same SOC but seems like not eligible. Checked with online CS chat and on Twitter. Anywhere else to check? I have the SIM card, so would rather use it then order it.

On a T-Mobile one 9-12 plan... this would be line 11, I have about 6 free lines ?

T-Mobile messenger says...
I'm going to do it... the line sits at $30 charge.

My SOC is TIULFM9

Hello P**. As a thank you this holiday season, you are absolutely eligible for this awesome, limited-time offer. Please, enjoy this gift of one free voice line. 🎁

Just a few things you will need to know for your order:
-The SIM is free.
-To keep the promotion you cannot cancel any voice lines for at least 12 months.
-You will see a service charge for the line, then a credit to offset the charges for the promotion.
-The offer is not currently combinable with any device offers, enrolling in one on this line will drop the credits.
-All of your current service and device offers will remain intact, the new promotion will enroll in addition to those.
-There may be a one-time $35 Device Connection Charge plus any applicable taxes due today to get you this free line for life!

This offer is available to you online and in any of our retail store locations! In order to snag up your free line right now everything is right at your fingertips here: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/...id=hw_send Follow the steps to add a new line with your own device and/or a free physical SIM we will send to you!

Please, be aware you will not see any indicators online for the offer as you proceed with your order. There also may be a delay in order processing due to high demand, we will email you as soon as your order is complete. I have already confirmed your eligibility which means the promotion will enroll automatically, there is no need to reach back out! We've got you covered.

I believe I have the same SOC but the problem I've run into is 12 voice lines already used up - I don't think I can get any more without opening another account.

I don't think you can order a new line without giving them the SIM number (if you have one) or them mailing you a new one.
Chatting with them right now, let's see what they say

they are supposedly saying that the new line does not show yet and it may take 24-48 hours. gave them the sim number maybe they can activate to see if i get a text message if the free line would stick or not.

I know it has been confirmed by at least one person on this chat that you can port in a number to a free line, but wanted to see if others have also done that successfully?? Thanks!

Just tried it but today I'm getting an error message when I try to add the line, it is saying "Invalid User Role, you are not the primary account holder. Need the primary account holder to make upgrades or changes to this account".

I went to my profile and indeed my account is set as the primary account holder. Yesterday I wasn't getting that error message. I'm guessing T-mobile might be fixing the loophole or something.
This happens when you are not the authorized user on the account.

I am currently getting $5 per line autopay discount for my 3 lines on Magenta Max plan. Can anyone confirm if I would get the same on this 4th free line. Also what exactly I need to do to waive the $35 activation charge

Has anyone tried putting the free SIM into a 5G tablet and determined if it works?

I believe this free line meant you don't get a phone deal for adding a new line, as an example, "add a new line, get iPhone 12 for free" however, you should be able to upgrade/trade in a phone once the line is active because the free line will show "upgrade available"

got it, yeah, except depending on peoples plan (cost per line), paying for an upgrade with some kinda trade in to get even a more expensive phone by paying a bit will pay itself off since they won't be paying monthly for that phone line
