This is average sale price for this title; I purchased physical copy a few years ago for $15.

It's definitely worth it, but if you don't get it now, it will most likely be on sale in a few months

Isn't having your content on a digital platform that may or may not be in service and/or licenses that can be revoked just as not futureproof?

I haven't seen this price digitally in quite some time. Physical I'm sure is discounted a bunch.

Do people prefer Digital?

I thought Physical was usually more sought after.

Physical is dying. Whether you like it or not, having your content on destructible media is not futureproof.

$15.99 is the lowest the digital has ever been according to dekudeals. Lowest for the physical is $15 like you said.

I'm just lazy and i don't want to switch out game cartridges. Some games physical is ok, but it's such a bummer when you're playing games and realize the game you want to play is actually on a cartridge and have to get up and put it in

You can resell individual games. There will always be value in that.

Tell that to all my missing Nintendo Wii Virtual Console stuff, nevermind less restrictive DRM on physical. Nintendo is the only company where I happily buy cartridges because they can't be trusted

I get my games super cheap on PC. I'm glad I don't worry about that anymore.

can digital games be sold in any way? I always prefer physical because of this.

Or what happens if i want to transfer a game to my kid or something on their account.

The only time I think NFTs are worth a damn is when it comes to digital games and music, maybe movies. If they could utilize NFT block chains for things like this, it might take off. Pictures and things like that just won't make the grade.

100% believable here.

3rd party title aren't equally high as 1st party and that's a fact. I'm in a favor of 1st party physical COMPLETE edition copy.

If digital 3rd party physical games are to be had for DIRT cheap…I mean like….SUPER AFFORDABLE TO YOU…then the resale value don't mean much when there other platforms available for less.

Let me real.

How much % or $ are you gonna get back once completed the game? And how patient are you to resell back? Time is $ here.

And are you realistically gonna get a buyer for your "asking"price?

And are you to prefer selling back to the retailer because convenience matters more than $ or % in return??

Scenario:

$15 3rd party game physical copy

$0 in micro transactions or extra (this is good obviously)

Play it. Beat it 100%, if ever

Resell it for $15 or less, if ever get sold.

These days most folks prefer to get it for cheap from the owner and then flip it for 1.5 or more in return thanks to the internet, and I don't blame them.

I like both for different reasons. Just all depends.
