This deal's still available this morning. Nice discount for Lego (save 46%) and great reviews, too.

I like these sets. I wonder if the Mario starter deal will ever come back. At Costco two days ago I got a princess peach starter on clearance for 19.97 ymmv. They also had some other sets on clearance.

Costco has great clearance on lego sometimes. Always worth a peek. Got my starter sets clearanced (not as good as yours!) and recently saw some marvel and star wars stuff less than half price

Wife found the princess one too for 19.97 and bought it. Kids already have the Mario starter and a few other expansions. They are fun to play with but take up a lot of room. I bought the topple tower a couple weeks ago on Amazon for 15.99 along with a couple other heavily discounted expansions.

Can you use all the expansions with the peach starter?

Peach starter doesn't have a lot of expansions it works with compared to Mario & Luigi. Seems a bit like Lego biased the boy variant.

I was under the impression that all these sets were compatible with each other. Is this not the case? I just setup up the Mario base set this morning. Seems like there isn't really a set build. More like a bunch of action pieces that you put together to build your own level. I've been impressed so far.

After further research, I discovered all sets are interchangeable with the characters. The paper that comes with the sets leads you to believe otherwise.
