After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.
you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).
Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

Thanks, when I go to my cart with Pixel 7 pro it says 899-550. And then my iPhone 8 trade shows 149, but something is missing as that still leaves me at $350 due now and $150 to be refunded to me after my trade-in is completed, but that leaves me at 200 total instead of $50 for the pixel 7 Pro...
Those numbers are right if you're trading in an iPhone 8 for a Pixel 7 Pro - you'll end up paying $200 + tax + 2 months' service.

Okay so you only get the regular pixel for free then with the iPhone 8?

I thought with the iPhone 8 trade you get the pixel 7 pro for $50 like it shows at the top

The title of this post is really poorly written, I just read it twice again to make sure I didn't read it incorrectly

The title's wrong/misleading.

The discounts for the 7Pro: $300 to port in a number, and $250 if you use the code. This means you end up with $899-$300-$250 = $349 before trade-in.

For the 7: $200 to port in a number, and $250 if you use the code. You end up with $699-$200-$250 = $149 before trade-in.

The trade-in values for various iPhones are in the wiki.

Yeah the title is definitely confusing, the original thread of this deal (the thread from a couple days ago) has a much better title I just checked that one out a few minutes ago to read some comments there.

Thanks, repped you.

Also, do you have recommendations on number porting - do you know if Google Voice will work, some said they think it will but they didn't seem confident.

If Google Voice definitely won't work, then I will have to get something like a Ting Sim but that will take a little while and I wanted to order the pixel this evening if I could, do you know if we're able to change the porting number later?

I've been defaulting to Tracfone because all it takes is a $1 SIM card, and you can get a number for $10.

You can get them cheaper, obviously, but you either have to plan ahead or buy them through sites like eBay.

At the end of the day, it's just not worth the hassle for me to save maybe $5.

now i'm confused. just ordered a Pixel 7, upgraded my current byod on Fi, with Iphone 8+ for trade in. discounts were $200 off Pixel promo for current customers and another $250 for trading in the Iphone XR. but the trade in value is only $159. will i get that $159 as additional credit once it passes their inspection? or that $159 is already part of the $250 promo for trading one of the phones on their list?

old man here gets confused pretty easy.

Can we choose any fi plan? Looks like the cheapest for 60 days would be the flexible plan, just didn't know if that one qualifies
$20 fi plan plus tax will be the cheapest.

so....i'm a Fi customer and planning to upgrade my phone. getting the Pixel 7 give ms me $200 discount and $250 discount for the Iphone 8+ although trade in value is $159 for the 256gb version. after evaluation, will they still credit me the $159 if trade in checks out, or not anymore since they already gave me the $250 promo discount.?

if they credit me the trade in value, so my XR was worth $250=$159? i just ordered and that is what i see on my order retails.

$599 Pixel 7
250 discount for trading in Iphone 8+ 256gb
200 additional discount
___________
$153 charge to my credit card after tax etc...

what happens to my $159 trade in value? will they credit me that amount making the phone purchase eventually free? making the value of the XR $250 +$159= $409?

The trade-in is separate from the $250 discount.

At check out, you'd be paying $599 - $200 - $250 = $149+tax for a Pixel 7..

When they receive your trade-in, you'll be credited with the value of your trade-in.

* I've no personal experience trading in phones that'll bring the balance negative, so I'm not sure how they'll handle things as far as refunding the $159 to your credit card or just leaving it as credit in your Fi account.

Picked up IP11 from Metro for $126 out the door. They waived activation but added insurance which I was okay with. Going to do the Fi deal now. I'm hoping I'd have to pay just 2 months of service. Fingers crossed.
Can you break down the fees to get the $126 price? After phone being $50 what is the other fees that account for the other $76? From whom did you do the port in? Did they give you any hassle on the port in?

yeah i'm sure the negative balance will just eat up the plan charges....but most important is my Iphone XR value will be $250 plus $159? which is a bteer deal, doig a current customer like what i just did or a new customer? cuz if new customer i can still cancel my order. thanks for the help.

lol. i'm doing the same....same trade in but buying the the P7....i think if you go with the Pro you have to shell out an extra $200 vs the P7 which will be around $50?

i could never get a Tracfone number for $10 when i use a BYOP sim kit. it takes me to the $15 plan plus tax so around $17.

I went through the process of checking out and stopped at selecting my credit card because I couldn't find where to enter the PIXEL2022 code. Where in the process do I add the code? Also, can I port over a Google voice number?

Update: PIXEL2022 is added after choosing a credit card and accepting the terms.

Does anyone know if a Google voice number qualifies as a port in?
