After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.
you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).
Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

When I do the SE2 trade in and port-in discounts, I am getting 599 - 450 + 15.27 tax = 164.27. How are you getting it for free?
Trade in refund comes after trade in is evaluated I believe.

Do you have to open the phone and pop-in the sim card to activate and qualify for the promo? Thanks!

I would carefully read the details, but it looks like you have to activate it and have the FI service for a min of 60 days.

I will keep the service for 60 days make sure to not put the Fi sim card on any other device. But does the phone need to be opened to activate? Sorry if its a silly question. Every carrier is different :/

The remaining $149 discount is credited to your credit card *if* they receive your trade-in phone, and *if* they consider it to be in good enough condition. You have to pay state sales tax on the amount of the phone after the initial discounts (15.27 in your case)

Hi everyone, I posted this message in an old thread and thought that I should bring t here since this seems to be a newer thread.

I need help. I signed up for Google fi. Ordered and was charged for 2 galaxy s22 phones and they only sent me 1 phone.

Contacted customer support, the agent sent it to a specialist who filed a ticket. They told me it takes 24-72 hours.

Everyday I chat with different agents and after 3 days, they said to wait another 24-48 hours.

This is frustrating and I don't know what else to do. The phones are for my kids as Christmas gifts

Should I call my credit card about this and return the phone and not start the Google Fi plan.

I know this thread is for a different phone but still part of Google Fi.

I want to gift the phone to someone, so I'd like to keep the box unopened.

Is it possible to take advantage of the deal without having to open the box?
I assume, not -- because port in requires activation, and activation requires opening the box, but maybe there's a workaround?

Any ideas?
You could let them 'unbox' their new phone, use it for a few days with their SIM and maybe 'borrow' it for 10 mins, swap with GoogleFi SIM, activate and then remove the Google Fi SIM.

Remember though that:
- If you insert the Google Fi SIM on any other phone, during the next 6 months, it claws-back your Port-in discount.
- You'll need to keep this line active for the next 6 months - this could be as less as $20+taxes if you're on a group plan.

What if you accidentally drop your Pixel on concrete pavement and HAVE to get another phone? That seems unreasonable.

Wait, what?? 6 months??
I thought everyone was saying the line has to be active for only 2 months??

UPD:
Yeah, just checked OP, and it clearly states "2 months" in multiple places. Where did you get the "keep service for 6 months" idea from?
