I have a Samsung S22 that I got through a trade in deal a month ago. Today, I received the Pixel 7 that I did through an iPhone trade in. It was for another user on my account and I was porting in a number from Metro.
When I turned on the phone, I logged in with the 2nd user and went through the activation process with an eSim. The port information had already been set up online.
Instead of porting the number to the new Pixel, it set it up on my existing S22 and released the number I had on that phone. No line got activated on the Pixel.
What a mess... the couldn't figure out how to fix it online and now waiting for them to contact me back. Allegedly they're waiting for my original number to get released, so they can put it back on my original account and then they can move the new number to the Pixel.
Luckily, they're both junk numbers that I ported in from Boost and Metro for the promos
I'm waiting to see what happens to all of the promos...
