What happens to the extra credit after trading an iPhone 11 for Pixel 7. Ended up ordering the 256 GB to add the extra $100 to better utilize the iPhone 11 $330 trade in credit.

So... here's a new one.

I have a Samsung S22 that I got through a trade in deal a month ago. Today, I received the Pixel 7 that I did through an iPhone trade in. It was for another user on my account and I was porting in a number from Metro.

When I turned on the phone, I logged in with the 2nd user and went through the activation process with an eSim. The port information had already been set up online.

Instead of porting the number to the new Pixel, it set it up on my existing S22 and released the number I had on that phone. No line got activated on the Pixel.

What a mess... the couldn't figure out how to fix it online and now waiting for them to contact me back. Allegedly they're waiting for my original number to get released, so they can put it back on my original account and then they can move the new number to the Pixel.

Luckily, they're both junk numbers that I ported in from Boost and Metro for the promos

I'm waiting to see what happens to all of the promos...

Which is the easiest and cheapest trial line i can get with a smooth porting-out process. Someone advised ting but I can't find trial sims in BB or Target near me. BB has free shipping to store but takes a week. I am receiving my phone tomm so want to get this activation over with. I saw a Mint trial Sim card for $2.00 at Target online. Is it easy to port-out of Mint trial accounts? I also saw USMobile has free trial but there are some horror stories regarding porting out from USMobile trial accounts. Any tips very much appreciated. Also would be great if anyone knows of an option which would save me a trip to store for the physical sim card. - I don't have E-sim though-

Anyone have an educated guess on when a 6a might start being taken in trade toward a 7 or other devices.
Probably when the 7a comes out.

Do you need to provide the port in number while ordering? I wasn't able to see anything to provide the port in number. Do we need to give the Provider and phone number for Port in?
You can give a temp number while ordering and port-in a different number

Has anyone traded a phone with broken SIM card connector/reader? When a SIM card from any carrier is inserted, the phone always shows 'No SIM card inserted'.

I activated a new line in a local boost mobile store. Out of pocket $225 I got a boost mobile "renewed" iphone 11 with one month of $60 plan. The phone is in great shape and unlocked. As soon as I came back I placed order of 7 pro with trade in. This deal is not shown in BM website so I guess it's ymmv.

Do they use E-SIM for the Pixel on Goggle fi? I think you can also pick one up locally if needed in a crunch, but my guess is they expected E-Sim.

Esim, just power it on and follow the prompt, when it asks you to insert sim there will be option to use esim as downloaded version once you connect to wifi just keep following their prompts
