After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

My understanding is that an existing customer must move their existing phone number to the newly arrived phone as part of the activation. Then you might be required to keep the number on the new phone for 60 days, but I'm cloudy about that part.
Yeah that is my understanding as well, which would not be possible in this case because the "existing" number would be one that I just ported in for my first line and has to be tied to my first phone for 60 days. I will likely be doing whatever I'm going to do tomorrow, phone will be here late tonight it appears, so unless someone has more clarification or certainly on this part of it, I'm just going to do a new fi account with their own gmail address for my second order.

Ported from Tello to Google Fi eSIM.
Questions:
- Can I use my other physical sim card along with Fi eSIM and still get the promo?
- I paused the data usage on Fi to avoid accidental usage? I hope that's fine. The promo terms mentioned pausing, cancelling the account will void promo.

Thanks!

Yes for the first part, and I believe other posts have confirmed it.

For the second part, disabling mobile data for the Google Fi SIM seems safe as long as you're not pausing the service itself as a whole.

I personally would not put any non-Fi SIM on the pixel until I get the promotional credit.

During a previous deal, I disabled the data and it did not impact the promotional credit.

Ordered P7P Monday night, phone was just delivered. Ported in a number from Metro. Now waiting on the return kit to ship my trade in. Pretty smooth and instant in terms of activation and porting of number.

Any one know how to see the days counter on the Fi app? Navigated a bit and did not see it there.

In the Google Fi app, go to Billing > Fi savings > In progress, and you'll see the promotions associated with the line/account. I don't actually see it yet on mine, but there would normally be a line item for keeping Fi service for 60 days consecutively, with the number decreasing.

Thanks, that was super helpful! I don't see it yet as well, hopefully it will show up soon.

But did you need to have another number to port in for that 2nd line, cause obviously you cant port in the one you just porting in for your first line, or do they let you get a new number.
They let you get a new #. I did a similar deal for an S22, where instead of being a "new" customer (which required port-ins for the "new" customer deals), I went for the "existing" customer route by signing up for a new Fi account with BYOD and picking a new # in the process. Once I used the new line for a day or 2, when I checked for Fi store pricing, all the promos ended up being "existing" customer promos.

So many people have said it's fine to use it on a different carrier, why do you say otherwise?

Some people like to be safe and and follow the directions; others look to push the limits. It's personal preference and risk tolerance. The more risk involved, the greater potential for loss. Many people say to invest in the stock market, other prefer less risk.

Indeed, because dual SIM is one of the Pixel 7's features, it's hard to imagine that Google Fi would forbid use of two Sims during the promo. They'd trying to make a good impression, plus I don't recall anything in the terms and conditions that mentions avoiding using a second SIM concurrently with the Google Fi sim.

just ordered mine.

got a pixel 7 pro hazel 128 gb
$899
-250 bonus for trade in
-300 port in
-330 refund for trading in iphone 11 64gb.
=$51.28
+ 40(for two months of service, 20 per month)
= final $91.28 plus some taxes.

so probably $100ish for new pixel 7 pro.

perfect timing, my iphone 11 was starting to become sluggish and disconnects from data, drops call randomly.
