After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

I supposed there's no way to activate the phone without opening the box?
Well, you're supposed to download the Fi app to the new phone, and run the app to activate the phone. Can't do that without opening the box.

You can chat with support and add a referral code, it'll save you $20 on your bill.
Does the referral actually work? I tried doing it but it wouldn't stack with trade in promos... I'd be careful maybe the referral would inactivate the trade in promos? $40 vs $530?

I've used referral codes with other Fi deals, but it didn't take the code (besides the PIXEL2022 code) with this deal.

I don't think it is possible. Also you will need to keep the phone active on Fi - 60 days.

Thanks for the data point. My P7 is due for delivery today. I'll see if it has one. My previous Fi deals (3 samsung S22, one Pixel 4a) all came with the SIM already installed.
I wonder if they stopped sending SIM's to make it more difficult to take use another carrier (as in you cant just activate the Fi Sim card then take it out and replace it.

Is there anyway to get a physical sim from them? I prefer that.

Well, not sending a Fi SIM saves you the hassle of removing it and stashing it away Big Grin

Was going to get mom a cheaper phone for Christmas, but happened upon this. Had an iphone SE laying around waiting for a trade in. I wonder how the number import is going to work though. I have my phones esim currently on the TMobile test drive for 3 months, and it accepted that number lol.

I suppose, but just seems like less chance off messing it up, especially for those who have never done eSim. So just to be clear I activate it on eSim, disable the data on the eSim and insert physical Sim from my other carrier for daily use.

That's the way I'd do it. On some phones, there's an option to designate which SIM to use for functions that need Data.

Just received my P7. No physical SIM. I guess Fi is forcing everyone to use eSIM by default.

Got an email from FedEx:
FedEx Express National Service Disruption: Severe Winter Weather
Friday, December 23, 2022
FedEx Express experienced substantial disruptions at our Memphis and Indianapolis hubs last night due to severe winter weather that has been moving across the United States. The weather has created potentially hazardous operating conditions, and the safety of our team members remains our number one priority.

Potential delays are possible for package deliveries across the U.S. with a delivery commitment of Friday, December 23 and Saturday, December 24. We recognize the importance of deliveries this holiday weekend. Contingency plans are in place, and we are prepared to provide the best possible service as conditions allow.
===========================

Fortunately, my Fi P7 came from IL, went through IN hub yesterday and made it to KS for on-time delivery today 12/23.
I ordered on 21st evening and they shipped it yesterday. this morning it showed delay in Chicago which I was anticipating and suddenly I saw that it is in transit at IN hub. as of 8:25 AM today. So crossing my fingers for delivery today in SC. Paid extra for expedited shipping but I dont think I am getting the phone anytime soon. I would rather wait for the safety of people working for FedEx then my phone coming on time.
