I wonder if the 7 pro worth the extra money. If I trade in iphone 11 for google pixel 7, not 7 pro, do I get $330 refund, and making the pixel 7 free plus some cash back?

Your credit card will get a refund up to the cost of the phone (without tax), and the excess will be Fi credit (for service only, not for buying devices).

Did any one add a line? If so can we use the credits from the main line to pay for the added line?

1. You can log into your Fi account, there should be a box saying Number Ready For Transfer. Click on Update Info and change it to another number/provider. See attachment.
2. I was simply never asked to unlock my GV number or to pay the $3 fee. My suspicion is that the unlock fee is only needed if the GV number is not for the same account, or when porting to a provider that's not Google. I don't know.
Damn, wish saw this sooner. Wasted my $3. Didn't know you could do that within Googles..

I did exactly that... actually have done three purchases and trade ins... the excess credit on the 1st line is currently paying for the service required on the 2nd line and the excess on the second will more than cover the 3rd.

1) S22 256gb with cracked S21 trade in.
2) S22 128gb with cracked S21 trade in.
3) Pixel 7 with iPhone SE 2nd trade in.

I thought trade in credit can be applied to devices? ie. purchase device on payment plan then request to pay off. Credit will be applied?

I've never done a group plan. Does each line have its own new/current Fi member status, or all members of the group are considered existing Fi members when placing their orders.

You know more about that trick than I do.

Similar situation here, except it's approaching 48 hours since I received the "Service activated" email. I did contact Fi support yesterday, and they said all looked good on their end and to wait 24-48 hours.
I'm not worried; I, too, suspect that their system may only be watching for the IMEI associated with the physical SIM slot.
My update :

Port in completed, waiting my trade in kit to be arrived, mostly after Xmas. By now just checking Fi saving, $200,$250 all rebate are in progress status. Though my number already on Fi Network.. guess it may need some time for the server to be updated.

What if I don't send back the trade in? I don't mind paying $150 for the pixel.
It's $150 plus the $250 bonus discount for trade-in they'll charge you. So how does $400 for pixel sound?

It stopped working because you cleaned out their inventory. Big Grin

Thank you for the info, I have paused the service on main line should it be active to add the new line and make payments?
