After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

I have no idea. It started out with the typical "30 days to activate". However it changed to 34 days yesterday (when I check yesterday on Christmas day). It now shows 33 days for today. Here is a screen shot.

Like I said, I wouldn't trust Google's stupid system to not charge you at the end. Definitely going to initiate a return and cut my loss by Jan 15th (which is the last date for return).
I'm just getting worried about this deal. Sounds like nothing is working properly. There have been reports on Reddit of people being charged for the promotion after 30 days or so.

I had 2 pixel 7 pro orders. The problem with this promotion is the amount of exposure. It is $300 plus $250 for each phone. That is $550 for one and $1100 for two phones.

If Google Fi charges me because of some stupid reason at the end, it will be a problem without having the ability to return the phone back. Their chat support is useless and the CSR are giving contradictory answers. For instance one told me that my referral was applied. The other me not applied and it cannot be stacked.

Disregard the "Billing Period" verbiage on the statement. You activated on 12/23, so your 1st bill is available two days later on 12/25. You actually got 2 free days. Fi is prepaid. The amount you pay for the 12/25 bill covers your service from 12/25 to 1/24. Fi's billing period starts the same date each month (for each customer), regardless of the number of days in a month. So your subsequent bills will be on 1/25, 2/25, 3/25. Dec and Jan have 31 days each. If your 60 days ends before 2/25, you can cancel and not receive the 3rd bill.

That's just the weird way Fi and T-mo state their billing periods. Even their billing reps find it confusing.
Thank you IT expert 🙂.just about to call my lawyer for a lawsuit.. dismissed..😁

Mine says activate in the next 25 days, even though the phone has been activated.
Are you doing multiple P7 deals? In some posts, you said your eSIM was activated. In some posts later, you asked if activating a physical SIM is safer than using eSIM.

This P7 deal includes two promotions: one requires porting in a number within 30 days if new customer + 60 days of service; one requires trading in an iPhone within 30 days. Did the people on Reddit fail to port-in and/or trade-in? What's the reason Fi gave for charging them the promotions? I don't think this P7 deal is even 30 days old yet.

Do they send a prorated bill for the 2 days? I ordered a new device on Nov 28, which arrived on Dec 5 and was activated the same day.
However I received a bill on December 2 for $15 plus taxes and fees. So I my bill was $15 for 7 days?

Exactly same thing happened to me.
The only difference was I did get all the checkmarks including activation and bringing in my number the next day however they all disappeared and the counter went up to 34 or 33 days remaining for activation and started counting downwards?

Did you ask them to apply a referral code?

I have 3 in total. 2 for myself - 2 Pixel 7 Pro.
1 for a friend: Pixel 7.
Pixel 7 Pro - one was activated on eSIM earlier. Does NOT show the checkmarks or countdown.
The other Pixel 7 Pro, I just activated today AM with Physical SIM (old one I had lying around).
The Pixel 7 for my friend (who is tech challenged, and doing stuff on her behalf) - hasn't yet been activated. Sorry about the confusion.

I've done 5 Fi deals and never got charged for the 2 days. Can you post a screenshot of your Billing section? Did you order the phone using a new Fi account or as an existing Fi member with active service? If you didn't activate your phone until Dec 5, I don't see why they sent you a bill on Dec 2 unless you have existing service.

What does it show when you go to your Fi account using your computer, click on Billing-->Fi Savings, then click on each promotion?

My apologies I should have been more clear. I meant past Google Fi Deals (Samsung and Pixel 7, Pixel 4a etc). There are many threads on Reddit where people complain about Google doing a chargeback on their Google Pay even after CSRs have previously assured them that all is fine. People even had their cases escalated to "Promotions" team.

I'm no expert, but I spend a decent time reading Reddit threads.
Consensus (per Reddit): It doesn't matter what the CSRs say or claim. Unless the system (Fi Website Promo tracker) shows checkmark on all requirements, Google will charge the user for the promotion initially given while placing the order.

I agree with that. I want to see the checkmarks under Fi Savings. I don't trust what the reps say.

For both the Pixel 7 Pro it shows 2 checkmarks - Bought Device - Received $300 off.
New Fi Member activates device in 25 days for one of them, and 27 days in the other. These are both UNCHECKED.

For the Pixel 7 Pro I activated using eSIM - it shows 2 IMEI numbers when I click on your plan - Devices - Pixel 7 Pro.
For the Pixel 7 Pro activated using Physical SIM - it shows only 1 IMEI as expected.
