After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Update on activation status.

The P7Pro with Physical SIM shows the countdown now. Says 59 days left for the promotion.
The P7Pro with eSIM does NOT show countdown timer till now. Shows 2 IMEI devices. Fi rep has told me to wait another 48 hours. He basically said after the holiday (Jan 3rd), they will escalate it to the Promo team.

Trade in for one of them is stuck in Pre-Shipment USPS status since a week.

my phone was delivered on 12/22, but still haven't received the trade in kit as of 12/28. I don't see any kind of tracking for it either. if anyone has received their trade-in kit, did you get any notification when it was shipped to you?
I did not receive the kit yet. They stated that it was shipped I contacted them no use. They say same thing again and again wait fro 7 to 10 businness days.

Same boat as some of you. Phone got delivered and it's activated since 12/22 pixel 7. But shows two devices on my account (esim) and no check marks for activated device & port in within X days! Alrdy got in touch with CSR, was told system needs to catch up n update but everything looks fine.. keeping records of conversations and hopefully it all ends well! P7 esim, ported from G voice phone works and everything.

This is a big issue. I was an idiot and should have used physical SIM. My other phone with the physical SIM showed activation the next day and the countdown started.

The eSIM activated phone is stuck. Fi CSRs are saying the system will eventually fix it. It's been almost a week for me. I tried to force them to escalate it to the promotions team, but they said after the holidays - so not until Jan 3.

Please check on store.google.com. It will list your trade in kit over there and tracking will be provided. Most likely it might be stuck on the initial stage of USPS awaiting for item and pre-shipment provided to the US but package not received.

Why everyone activating with Esim? Should it be activated while promotion last or with order placed and activation later it will count?

Because there is no physical SIM with the phone. This is even though the rep told me that a physical SIM should have been sent.

Activated using Esim on December 22nd.
I contacted them through their Reddit support team yesterday. –with a case id number I had from the google support team through chat- The rep asked me if I still have the issue in the morning before he escalated and I confirmed the issue was still continuing. Later he confirmed that he was escalating the issue for me. In the evening activation registration accurately showed the checkmarks confirming activation and transfer.
He didn't mention anything regarding their holiday ending Jan 3rd though. If there wasn't any intervention from the promo team, then the system somehow registered my activation.

Oh so the " system update/catch up " it's just the team coming back from the holidays. Ok well hopefully i get update to the proper progress status. This whole Esim thing kinda blows!

In my case the system caught up after 5 days -unless there was an intervention from the promo team because I was told that they are escalating the issue by their Reddit support rep-

I see you also activated on the same day with me, December 22nd.
So you should already have the activation showing yesterday if it was anything to do with a system update.
I don't think the date when you got in touch with the CSR is important unless they confirmed that they have escalated the issue.
