After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.
you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).
Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

It took about 24 hours from when I got my trade in approval credit email "We received your phone for trade-in" for the check marks to update on the Fi Savings page for the Additional $250 off Pixel 7 promotion.

It now shows

(Check) Bought a device on Dec XX
(Check) Received $250 off
(Check) Activated the device on Dec XX
(Check) Trade-in kit received
(Check) Device Passed inspection
(Check) $ "Trade in value quote" reimbursed to you. The money was sent to the card you used to purchase your Pixel 7

(Unchecked) Stay active on Fi for XX more days

I ordered Pixel 7 and traded in a iPhone 11 for it. I paid 158USD from my card and used the PIXEL2022 promo to get a 200+250=450usd promotion as an existing Fi customer. Now, i got a refund of 149usd in my card only while I expected to get 330.Rest of the amount has been put in Fi credit. Anyone on same boat?

The P7 costs $149 (plus taxes) after the promos. What you got is the way it works. Your cc gets a refund up to the cost of the phone (before taxes) and the rest goes to your Fi credit.

If you didn't want so much Fi credit, you could've traded in an iPhoneXR for $149, or bought a P7 Pro which costs $349 before taxes.

Normally they should have done the evaluation within 3 business days.

https://support.google.com/fi/ans...determined

I read in one of the posts on Reddit that the customer support advises to wait 11 days before they escalate the issue when the inspection is still pending for a long period of time.

I haven't contacted the customer support yet and waiting patiently but if the inspection is not complete by January 16th I am going to call support and ask them to escalate the issue with a higher tier support rep.

If I don't get the support I need I will post on their Reddit page, they are very responsive on social media.

Does your trade-in device have a cracked screen by any chance?

I'm in the same boat as you (they received my phone on the 5th; same yellow exclamation).

How long did it take for your trade-in to be approved after you received the E-mail confirmation that they received your device?

You don't need to return your new device. Just keep an eye on it for the next few days and if it doesn't accurately reflect the inspection contact them on Reddit and they should fix it.

If you meet all the promotion terms there isn't anything to worry about. Having said that be pro-active and watch if it accurately represents the actual status.

My tradin got approved and got message will be credited to card in 3 days. But the 250$ promotion checkbox shoes yellow exclamation on trade in reimbursement and nothing on device inspection ....should I worry and return pixel as I still have 3 days to return or this is google issue..I will get 250 not clawback due to this ticks issue

For me

01/05 - We've received your Google Trade In shipment (Your Trade In package has arrived at our warehouse)

01/10 - We received your phone for trade-in (Great news! We've had a look at your phone, and its value matches or is more than the original estimate.)

Update on trade-in:

01/11 AM - USPS delivered package.
01/12 7AM - Email from Fi saying "we've received your Google trade in shipment".
01/12 10AM - Email saying "we received your phone for trade-in" and according to the email it has passed inspection and I am getting my credit.

So this took about 24 hours from receiving the package and passing inspection.

Did you send in a cracked phone? why did the inspection take so long?
I'm asking because i had 2 trade-ins.
1) non-cracked iPhone 11(for 330$ credt) - only 3 hours between received email and inspection passed email.
2) Cracked iPhone 11(for 280$ credit) - it's been 48 hours since the "received your phone email" and nothing yet.

Same for me as well, cracked phone still in inspection more than 48 hours, other phone trade-in without any cracks processed in couple of hours.

Just got confirmation of my trade... badly cracked iPhone SE 2nd Gen but did turn on and was reset. Should have been $139, got the full non-cracked $149 credited. Bought the trade in on ebay for $59+tax.

I've got Fi credit to burn off from doing two cracked S21 trade-ins for S22's, so no additional cost to keep service for 60 days.
How long between them sending you the received email and the inspection passed email?

Thanks!

I've done 3 phone trades... 2 took less than 6 hours... the other was 18 hours.

All three were cracked... all three got full 'non-cracked' value.

That's smooth.

1/9 - dropped package at 5:08pm (usps closes at 5pm, glad they let me in a little after hour)
1/12 - delivered (usps tracking updated fully and clearly)
1/13 - inspection and refund expected Smilie

I got the email that says trade in is approved and for refund it says we will credit the amount to your Fi account or credit card if applicable. My assumption was that refund to CC is the default, isn't it?

Just received trade-in complete email and they applied full credit on iPhone SE 2 cracked phone.

Great news! We've had a look at your phone, and its value matches or is more than the original estimate.

You'll receive a total of $149.00 in credit.
