You don't, I guess. I've been on SD since January 2005, I'm not exactly tearing up the charts pimping product, so you'll have to use your own judgement. Personally, if I was going to try to sell something, I'd go for more than a, "seems ok" type of pitch. smh

Here's more feedback, after looking at it again with another coworker today, I wouldn't stand on it to paint something. The bracing under the desktop is an H, there's a crossbar in the center and runners along the short sides at the ends. the desktop is 2 pieces, they run lengthwise, and attach at those end supports and the crossbar in the center. Seeing as they're particle board, I wouldn't trust it to stand on. I suppose you could upgrade to a butcher block style top, or some other one piece top, but you're still stuck with a motor system for an inexpensive electric desk that will be who knows how difficult to repair when it inevitably and eventually takes a long walk off a short pier.

How do we know you aren't in on countering this product for another manufacturer? Pound sand.

I just assembled the larger size that I purchased after these were posted last week. Went together very quickly and simply. comes with most everything you need, a Phillips screwdriver (or powered driver is even better) is needed to attach the desktop to the frame, but the hex keys for assembling the rest are included. Hardware is neatly and simply labeled in pouches as well as in the instructions, so it's super straight forward without any 'figuring out' necessary. Function is smooth, I have nothing in the way of other motorized desks to compare it to, and obviously I've no clue how it will hold up over the long run, but nothing to complain about yet!

Appreciate the set up/assembly feedback! How is the sturdiness now that you've begun using it post assembly?

I actually got it for my partner, he's out of state and comes into the office once in awhile. I've just fooled around with it a bit since it's a new toy, but seems like it'll be a decent enough workbench for me while he's out so long as I'm not pounding on it

The 3rd and last pic hilarious. The lengths these companies go to save money and Photoshop it instead.

Bought this and received a slightly chipped table top, which shows the veneer is literally just paper thin. Caller customer care and got the table top replacement within 7 days. Can't vouch for quality but support is top notch.

But the table is height adjustable, not the price

I see some amazon suggestions for slightly lower prices! Surprising how cheap these tables have become!
