I would personally spend a little bit more and get something better than the coleman. I have it, and it works fine, but it basically has two settings: off and after burner. There is no in between on the knob

These were $10-$15 back before black friday then they raised the price up for the holiday shopping season. I think for this price just buy the coleman thats on sale currently. Wouldnt really consider this unless it was back at the 10-15 price again imo

I can set mine low and simmer too. Seems like the valves may be hit or miss.

I bought the ozark trail orginally and returned it for the coleman. The ozark worked fine but there isn't a bottom on it. You need to be careful when packing it so nothing messes up the gas lines.

That Coleman 2 burner for $5 more from target is a no brainer. I have this stove, but couldn't justify the Coleman when this works just fine.

This stove has served adequately on a fair number of car camping trips. Perhaps the only complaint I have is that the wire grill you set pots/pans on gets red hot rather quickly. Maybe they all do that, but doesn't inspire confidence. I suppose a more heat resistant metal would do the trick.

All these cheap stoves have crap controls. They are flimsy and often do not adjust the flame well (or at all!). This stove is no exception it's basically a clone of the China Coleman $30 special.

I've heard that opinion on the Coleman but guess I got a good one. I can definitely go low with it.

Interesting, no issue regulating on the ozark for me.

Did the same. I wasn't expecting much for the price of the Ozark trail but I pulled it out of the box and it was super flimsy sheet metal. The Coleman isn't super high end but at least it didn't feel like the whole thing was gonna bend in half lmao

I got the same one last spring for $15
Works great
Got a 1 lb propane adapter and use a 5 lb refillable tank with it.
One tank lasted all summer.
Cheap to fill, $3.00 to fill

This may work. Seems like cleaning and properly lubing the knobs fixes the issue. https://in.pinterest.com/pin/cole...031171937/
I've read the excess grease they use during production causes this common issue.

This is very helpful. Just unboxed the Coleman from Target and I'm going to clean the knobs tomorrow before I even use it.

I've had the Ozark one as my balcony burger grillin and chicken fryin stove for 2.5 years but I had been wanting something more.. pleasing and easy to use. Hopefully the $30 Coleman is that after the knob fix.

Ozark trail one the flame is modular enough, but wind protection isnt the best as well as the grill doesn't stay put often on the bottom side when handling.

I just watched a youtube video on cleaning the knob grease which makes the variation of heat a little better. https://youtu.be/uH5FQgzwGAI
