I can't tell you how many times I already own the entire series, on different formats, and different specialized packaging.

I also can tell you I'm seriously considering picking this up as well. laugh out loud

10 minutes ago, I thought to myself I'd like to watch Empire. Then I thought I only have the DVD, and don't have Disney+, so why not go ahead and pick it up on 4k disc? Then I check Amazon and see used copies of this set selling for $200, and next check BestBuy even though I assume that means it's sold out... and there it is, on clearance, no less! Pull the trigger then come here to see if it's already on SD, and find it was just posted 7 hours ago. I'm not saying the Force led me to it but...

Honestly it's worth it in my eyes! Im the same where I've got plenty of versions of most of the films, and the 4K set having the really cool art as well as things like the letter from Mark Hamill are really neat. If family/friends want to just watch the movies or borrow them, that's the set I break out. Despecialized stays in the theater with me lol

oh no i already ordered it and receiving it tomorrow. I am the one who posted about the deal. and as principle, i get my order in first before I post about it. need to make sure finders are keepers first.

Be aware the box scratches the discs when you take them in and out. Also, a couple of the movies don't play well on Sony players.

Yeah, I'd really like to get a deal on the first 3 or even the first 6 movies. Jarjar was annoying, but they weren't that bad compared to the new ones.

I'd also prefer if Han shot first and Vader wasn't replaced with Hayden in ghost form.... like the originals.

The last three were so bad that the prequels countless plot holes and bad actings are all of the sudden palatable.

I know the highly sought after DVD set do have Hans shoot first, don't remember about the ghost. I have that DVD set plus all the Laserdisc (all the editions).

I'm pretty sure they are just waiting to milk us with Blu-ray and/or 4K version of the original. Sadly almost every one of us would buy it.
