so they are copper clad on top of aluminum

if you wash in dishwasher it will wash the copper off! laugh out loud

It's say Anodized Aluminum so my guess is copper color and no actual copper.

Actually the color will stay on. It only goes away when you chip the outer aluminum.

It just goes to show that the Moscow Mule craze was stupid. Other than the drink itself, although I prefer the gin version.
