FYI, this is the sale price literally every other month.

Costco swaps $150 off sales each month between Michelin and Bridgestone.

Inflation is insane. Got my last set at Costco in 2018 and it costs $300 more now for the same model.

Got 4 Michelin defender t&h 235/55/17 for $730 out the door at dt on black friday. 80k mile tire discontinued now. Good luck finding them. Since then found an extra $70 rebate so $660 in my case which was approved by Michelin. 7% sales tax here and normal install military discount. They have non pro rated warranty first year. Year two to five is pro rated based on 80k on this one.
Not true. Costco has a 5 year pro rated warranty on all tires or the life of the tires. Which ever comes first. They are pro rated on the first year as well. The 80k mileage warranty tires are also available for special order.

i see that BF goodrich tires are also n sale (110 off), anyone has an opinion about this brand? cost much less than michelin, so thought of checking
They are great tires. Don't hesitate. Bf Goodrich are manufactured by Michelin. And the Road hazard warranty that Costco gives is the same for all tires.

They only had "V" rated Cross Climate 2 tires available and not "H". The warranty is 20,000 less miles and they actually cost more. This is for a honda odyssey so obviously don't care about the higher speed rating. I didn't realize this until after I ordered the tires. Am I overthinking this and the V rating would be fine or should I cancel and wait for H tires to come back in stock?
I would recommend getting a higher mileage warranty tire so they last you 4-5 years. See If the defender or x tour's are available for order. They both offer a 80k mile warranty.

Seems like every time I find a Michelin tire I like they discontinue them! At least I only have 15K on my T&H's. Got Belle Tire to price match as they are substantially closer than Costco for me.

Crossclimates 2 would be fine if you can't get anything else though.

Chiming in as a 4x4 owner - a lot of guys like the damage warranty. You can punch a hole in the tire off-roading and they'll replace it.
What is not covered:
A tire that is damaged/failed due to off-road use.

Thanks for the suggestion. We live in the midwest so snow and ice are why I was going with these over the defenders. Curious if you still recommend those? Both the Defender T+H and Defender2's are available...not sure what the difference is between these two is.

I just purchase a set of tires from Costco. The installation appointment around holiday is a joke. Almost impossible to get appointment in the next 4 weeks. You can do walk in, but they only allow limited walk-in customer and long wait time. The only thing I go with Costco tires because I get free lifetime tires balancing/rotation and puncture repair.
BS. That is isolated instance.
I just got off the Phone...made an appointment for Wednesday Morning at 11:00am
Also made Eyeglass Exam for same time

My appointment was 4 weeks away when I bought the tires. I tried walk-in and they said no. I don't know why so many people are getting new tires now? They have tires stacked up inside and outside.
Try walk-in when the counter/shop open. It will increase the chance getting a walk-in service, but YMMV.

Just got my set of tires with them before this promo. Does anyone know if Costco do price adjustments?

Get it price matched to outside seller. Connect with Michelin Tires, give them order details and get $70 cashback card. Worked for a friend.
