Bought these in August of last year and they were very dry. Buy them all the time at the supermarket and they are fine but the ones I got from Amazon seemed really dried out. Also the chocolate chip ones are better

Thank you for sharing this I would have never imagined these getting dry... but yes have too encountered stale cookies from Amazon, they were several months "fresh" from the best by date... Quest Protein Cookies. When I tried to alert other people to this with a review, my review was censored because it was alleged that the review was about the seller, not the product yet, I did mention that the manufacturer should not state innaccurate "best by" dates.... either way, if a seller is handling a product improperly the review imo is still valid to those needing to be informed about a purchase beforehand.

While I have also had Amazon delete reviews claiming I was reviewing the seller when my review was legitimately of the product, that having been said, please keep in mind when you leave a bad review for a product because the seller is storing stuff improperly, that bad review knocks down every other seller of that same product - it's not attached to only your seller. There is a separate place to leave bad reviews for sellers shipping poorly stored product without hitting the good sellers at the same time.

**while I don't know your specific sitiuation of course, 99% chance it's the seller storing items improperly, manufacturers rarely if ever are going to put their exp date too far out, but rather they set it far far earlier than when the product goes bad if correctly stored, so that folks will throw away good product and repurchase.

I buy these all the time from Amazon, good deal, although there is a good chance Aldi is cheaper if you find them in-stock under their private label name Milltown.
