Love the new versions but nothing will compare to watching it on a fuzzy black and white tv in the late 50s. Chiller Theater used to have sci-fi movies mid afternoon repeated all week. A great go to coming home after school.

I never heard that Paramount corrected the 4K of War of the Worlds. I'm sticking with the Criterion Blu-ray with the correct colors.

Not only does War of the Worlds feature a blue Mars at the beginning, but the included copy of When Worlds Collide is lacking contrast and washed in a brown hue. Not the best release for either film.
