Totally makes sense now. These lights are for doing more then my "traditional" type lighting is meant to do.

So in my mind…Twinkly lights would be a great upgrade for me (as I love cool led chasing lights etc). But to really get the full "light show" affect some believe more lights are needed then the 600 or so for a 7' tree.

Thank you to those that helped me understand as it was puzzling me.
I was wondering the same thing. Answered.

A quick search showed some selling for 220ish at big lots last year. So they could inch lower. Maybe more so if they release a new generation of lights.

Does anyone know when the discount goes to 75% off? Is it always after the new year? I'm hoping these will get to 75%.

This doesn't explicitly call out having warm white lights. I have a twinkly tree from big lots (600 lights) and without the warm white you have to sort of fake it by doing a gold and yellow and silver glow kind of thing. It's a huge bummer.

I would tell anyone to get two strands and do it on a standalone tree to get the nice warm white lights instead of this. Just my two cents. If you like colored lights do that instead…. Just be prepared for blueish white lights

This is in my opinion a far more realistic tree, just quite a bit bigger. I'm thinking about returning mine and getting this one instead. I have the 10 foot version and it's absolutely stunning.

People aren't buying a Twinkly tree for rlthe realism. You're really missing the point here.

I have the 600 light one from Costco. I like it a lot. It feels like it has only just enough lights. I wouldn't get one with less. We loaded our tree with ornaments though, so if you go more sparse you might want more lights.

I've been looking for the smaller version for a window tree next year.

Is the tree really 58 inches diameter? I feel like that's too big for my apartment.
