DW has an iphone on Tmobile and loves it. We don't have to pay for this garbage internet plan. Why pay $30 for a very small screen and slow internet when I pay $30 for my home internet for all my computers? Makes no sense to me. I can just call someone if I need something looked up on the internet when I'm away from home.

Only problem with T-Mobile is you'll be limited to EDGE, since they use a different frequency for 3G compared to AT&T. EDGE is really slow and a pain for internet. Also, you'll want to know what you're doing with an unlocked and jailbroken phone (which you'll only be able to get used and for $400 or so), and you won't be able to update it unless you really know what you're doing.
