To be fair Nikes do run a bit narrow.
I also have wider feet and found the toe box on the 39s more comfortable than the 36&37 generations.

They have free returns fwiw, if you're actually on the fence
Nike shoes are not for you I think. Have you tried New Balance? They make wider sizes

I'm a 9.5 in Adidas most of the time and got a 10 and they run long for me. I just use thicker socks as a workaround, but I'd get 9.5 if I could get a do over. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback that does help

Air pegasus 38s were my favorite shoes. However, not very durable, but to be fair I walked a ton on them. This is tempting, but think I'll hold out for colors that aren't butt ugly.

Are these any good for walking or standing for long periods of time?

I have a pair and are very comfortable and have a firm-squish, so supportive but comfy, but the top can be a bit snug and if you have wider feet it can be tight

Got it in store for $54. They wouldn't match the coupon on site but they honoured the sale price on site ($77.97) and the store was running 30% off. Excellent deal!

YES. My job requires me to be on my feet walking 7.5 hours for five days a week on asphalt.

I can wear them for a whole year almost before I have to replace them. And that's with heavy use on asphalt. Comfortable too! The only shoe more comfortable than this in Nike is the Invincible line.

Picked up peg trail 4 today for $60
Trail or Gore-Tex versions at that price are solid deals.

I use the Adidas Ultraboost Cold.RDY for hikes and trail runs.
The increased height lugs and boost cushioning underfoot have been great to handle most types of terrain, and the shoe itself has decent weather-proofing to keep my feet dry and warm.
YMMV, of course.

I just prefer the Vomero 16s for daily walks and non-serious running.
Perhaps just me, but my feet don't experience any residual pain or soreness after use.

Just for context, my opinion is based on shoe size 11 and weight 190 lbs.

Oh wow, I didn't know they'd match the online price. I figured it was higher in store since they were offering the 30% off. I will have to go back for a price adjustment, thank you for sharing that info!
Also FYI to others, these shoes are actually on sale while a lot of others have had the priced raised in the past few days/weeks. Saw some shoes "on sale" for $74.97 ($60 after coupon), and in-store was $80, then after 30% off it was $56. But the kicker is they were $49 on the website about 5 days ago. Out of about 12 different shoes, I think this posted deal was the only one that was really on sale.

I just got my shoes by mail. You're right, these shoes are narrow. I have a hard time walking around in them.

I size up 1/2 on Nike shoes, while Adidas, Hoka, and Puma are true to size for me.
