You're applying it wrong. Should last months. Mine does.

This stuff really makes a difference on my 2014 Civic's windshield surface, but then so does using the Rain-X brand of windshield wipers. Not a shill, just sh*t at driving in the rain. Way slick deal, OP, in the best way possible (get it because of the water on the windshield.... I'll see myself out).

I wonder if you really have to rub it in.

What if you just park the car outside in the sun when it's like 100F+ let it heat up to open the pours or whatever, then just squirt this all over the windshield and let it rest.

17 fl oz spray bottle is cheaper - $0.35 per oz instead of the OP's $0.45

Now we just have to wait to use it since you can't apply it below 40°F.

Please don't do that! :-o
Your window will haze and you won't be able to even see out of it. Best way to apply is a nicely cleaned windshield, using a paper towel or rag saturated with this stuff. Apply it in circles like you'd wax your car.

Yes you need to rub and apply it correctly. If not, you're left with streaks and a haze. Problematic when the sun hits it and you can't see. Complaints usually are from incorrect applications. Works really well when done right.

After waxing it in the rinse with clean water.

Does this help with old windshield? I don't know if it's the windshield getting old (2007) but i changed the whispers and it's still awful in the rain.
