Been over a decade since i last bought/tried Kaspersky. Largely due to fact it was always basically an annual toss up favorite sharing the top overall 3rd party effectiveness testing spot with Bitdefender, and with Bitdefender routinely being found on sale at half the price. And i always found Bitdefender to basically offer the same level of protection in the notably (at times) lighter running app.

Not sure how much of that has changed since.

I haven't used Bitdefender so I can't compare, but Kaspersky is very lightweight on machines I have used it on. I do like that it has a vulnerability scanner as well. Plus the license covers Android, so I can remotely lock and wipe my phone, etc...

We used bit defender at my last job, it was horrible. We were actively looking for something else. It destroyed hard drives.

On March 25, the Federal Communications Commission added Kaspersky to its list of communications equipment and service providers deemed threats to U.S. national security.

That is all anyone should need to know. Avoid this product.

You showed proof that Kaspersky is not in bed with the Biden regime, can even detect malware from your three letter agencies
