I've had previous gen of these and whilst the are fun to mess around with wouldn't expect a long life. Both units I had died within months.

Meh, for $25 with extra battery and helmet mount it is perfect for a 'bicycle/scooter dashcam'. After being runned-over by a car, you realize the value of having even crappy video of the incident.

well, for $25 you certainly cant expect gopro or iphone quality (like the comparison in video). He seems to give it good reviews and my experience was positive until the units died (i had a way early model with no replaceable battery). I might give this a go again and good thing is all accessories are gopro compatible (at least they were on the version I purchased from before).

I bought this and am reasonably happy, but I used the handlebar and clip-in camera mount for my bike and the nut that attaches the clip-in that secures the camera came out of the plastic and the camera went flying. It was in the waterproof case and was fine, but don't trust that whatever you attach the camera to will hold it. I cut out a hole and used JB weld to epoxy another nut in there and it works fine now.
