1000 watts at 110v is the same as 1000 watts at 220v.

The difference is the amps pulled per hour are halved roughly 95 vs 47.5....

Watts are what you pay for, and as I like to say watts be watts 1000 = 1000.

thermodynamics also explains that 1 watt of heat is 1 watt of heat regardless of what voltage it is produced at. Or what work that 1 watt does.

Source, am electrician. 220v would mostly make sense if you needed a much larger heater for a larger space.

These are excellent space heaters and I highly recommend the WiFi versions. However, I have seen lower prices on the 1000-watt heaters but the $90 1500-watt prices are pretty good.

Are these the noisy ones? I had one with a fan but it was too loud and annoying. Now I have an oil filled radiator one and it's a lot better in terms of noise but it's very slow to heat up.

You can use one of those outlet timer thingys to preheat the radiator.

Theses are great to put on drywall. Or better yet why not just light a match and throw it on your carpet and get the same effect.

I have had this unit for the last 7 months and it works fine.Heat up the space within decent time. Connect it to Alexa or Google assistant and say Turn on/off heater. Much more convenient.

I have the 1000 watt W-Fi model in my 2.5 year olds room. Its silent. Its so quiet he doesn't bother it. It connects to the Smart Life app. connects my my Alexa as well. Has features to change digital display brightness all the way to zero. I have the touch screen locked by the app so kiddo gave up touching the first day. Had it 4 months now from Amazon. It's slim. I have it between some furniture a few feet of the ground. We were kinda unsure about the wall idea at first but it saves space, wires, really is just silent. We have two big rolling heaters on the other side of the house and have been eyeballing the 1500. Its a modern look. Having a smart heater makes so much sense as much as it will save. With the kids you worry about temps wandering up or down but this is solid. Have it set to power off during certain hours of the day completely. It's fun. Anyhow. I don't write praises much and have been an old timer here. It's safe, solid, light. I watched their company demo vids with my wife. They were pretty helpful. I hope they keep making heaters. Thx. Picking up the 1500 white now since I have been talking about it. 😀

I've had one mounted to a wall in my kids room for around a year. No heat around the device the wall isn't hot. And it's a very nice heater not too loud either

Actually not that much difference. The more important thing is a more balanced load across the hot wires, not necessarily.a huge reduction in cost. I thought this too until looking up a cost colarison and realizing it was only a few bucks I'd be saving but also meant I didn't have to run a separate 220v line to my split unit.

If anyones looking for a more passive hearing system I highly recommend envi wall heaters. They're low wattage but you just.leave them on all day. Cool to the touch, completely silent, and can be hardwired.

I have both the 1000W and 1500W wall-hung Wi-Fi versions and they work great!

People expect too much of these little things. You aren't going to get amazing heat out of 1000W or 1500W. For example, I saw a YouTube video of someone complaining that it wouldn't heat up his garage to 70 in the winter, well duh, no 1500 watt heater is going to do that.

If you use these for supplemental heat, they are wonderful. For example, my basement in the winter is cold, so I use a 1000W one to bring up the temp several degrees.

My kids room has poor insulation (room over the garage). To compensate we have a mini-split but the heat pump work work in negative temps. We have a 1500W heatstorm hanging on his wall ready to kick in when that happens. And yes, we are going to get extra insulation blown in, but even so, rooms over garages tend to have troubles maintaining the same temperature as the rest of the house.

Anywho, I like them.
