This is the same Camp Chef Smoker from the $399.99 deal three weeks ago but they dropped the price $60. It's $520 on Amazon at the moment and seems to bounce between $500 and $650.
I think this model is basically a DLX with the slide and sear added so it's their entry level grill with the PID Gen 2 controller with that feature added. I think that might make it become an SG without wifi/bluetooth. It's definitely no Woodwind but it's less than half the price.
SLIDE AND GRILL- grill, smoke, bake, roast, braise, and barbecue with Premium wood-fired flavor on a single grill. Digital control, best of both Worlds, use the meat probe to check the internal temperature or toggle the grill temp with the push of a button
NEW PID CONTROLLER- Gen 2 PID Controller 1-10 Smoke Setting (Not WIFI Compatible)
EASY ASH CLEANOUT- cleaning between cooks is as easy as pulling a lever, thanks to the exclusive ash cleanout system You won't find on any other grill. That means less time wrestling with the vacuum and more time enjoying heavenly food
EASY ASSEMBLY and start up- check out the walk-through assembly video on camp chef site, so you can get cooking right away. In just a few minutes, you'll be ready to load up the grill with whole chickens, Brisket, ribs, jerky, & more
FOLDING FRONT SHELF- comes with full sized folding shelf PGFS24 $74 MSRP
Imported

Received quickly and assembly was smooth. So far it has worked well. Solid smoker with the slide feature and the front table.
Based on my experience and research prior to purchase you won't find a much better deal.
As far as pellet smokers though, this is the way to go if you want to stay under $900. The ash dumping cup is a godsend for lazy grillers like me. Every other grill on the market you have to remove the grates and shop-vac regularly. You can go much longer without vacuuming on a Camp Chef.
They're also reliable and have decent customer service. They also have a PID controller - rare in the price range. The other nice thing is all of the accessory options. Sear Box and Sidekick add a lot of versatility.
If you want to spend more on a pellet grill, don't bother with Traeger. Go with RecTec, Grilla, or Yoder.

The DLX had the first gen controller and this one has the newer one with phone app capabilities. That's looking at the one picture they have. I ordered the DLX a few years ago and upgraded the controller recently.
