Costco still has something similar to these on sale for $8 a few times a year, actually generally around now when people are all in storage mode.

That said, I've gotten the 27 gal, black/yellow totes from Costco and HD; the HD ones are a bit narrower and the quality of the mold isn't as good as the Costco version, which also seems heavier/thicker; e.g. not all 27 gal totes are the same even if they look similar.

The picture looks more like the HDX than the Greenmade, based on the lid. I have some made by Edge Plastics that came from RR last year and they are a perfect match to the HDX as well. Greenmade are like the old Tough Box, lids are interchangeable. You can stack an HDX on a Greenmade, but not really the other way around.

Greenmade are shorter, slightly wider and longer. HDX (and probably these) are taller and not near as long. If you look at the lid, the raised portion in the corner is more rounded and will have three raised portions between the corners. The Greenmade has more squared off raised corner and one long raised section in the middle. Tough Box will have 2 raised sections between the corners but lids are a perfect match to Greenmade.

Edit: Pure speculation until I actually see the ones at Rural King in person. Upon closer scrutiny of the pics on the site, they show an HDX-like lid in one and ToughBox like lid in another.

Wish this place was closer. Gives me hope that Costco or similar will get their price back down to this level in the future.

Does anyone know how durable this box is? I plan to get a couple of boxes in my swimming pool for kids' toys. Any problems when exposed to sun and rain daily?

Yes 6.49 would be nice but everything gone up so much remember $2 a gallon gas 2 years ago it doubled so about 20% or so increase is to b expected on this,,, wood products gone up 60% ,,,,,soda up almost 80%
