it is most likely not a full powered 3060, prob a 60W one, the $791 refurb laptop couple days ago had 130W one, and DDR5 - was the better deal

It's 95W, with boost to 105W I believe.
Better not to make claims without any knowledge.

Looks to be a great deal. SDers chime in and burst my bubble🤣🤣
Battery life is going to suck as the size is simply too small. Gigabyte doesn't have the best reputation in terms of quality and warranty. Other specs are good.

I've had this laptop for almost a year and it's been great. Runs Death Stranding at 60 FPS on 1920x1080, runs my Machine Learning work. Added a 2TB hard drive but no other changes.

Cons:
Battery life is 1 hour or less if running the processor heavily
It gets hot when gaming, you'll want a lapdesk or other flat surface to rest it on
The speakers are weirdly quiet. I can do meetings on them but some media is so quiet that I can't hear it clearly even with volume maxed.

Suggestions:
You'll want to upgrade the hard drive (it has 2 NVMe Slots and 1 2.5" SATA Slot so it's easy) and you may want more RAM (both sticks are replaceable)
Get a good set of headphones or a bluetooth speaker.

I mistyped. 115 is what I meant. I did look it up...lol. it's 95w, then 115 with boost.

Where do you find the power/wattage consumption info? I've tried to look for this but it seems hard to find for all laptops and then you have to be very careful about making sure you are looking at the exact same model number to be sure.
It's 115 max. I mistyped and put 105. Sorry

How would this be compared to the Asus front page offer? I'm not partial to desktop or laptop, but this price seems solid.

Intel hurting now due to lack of demand. Might as well make them cut prices more on last years or earlier models

Gaming-wise this has lower wattage, ddr4 vs ddr5, and 144hz vs 300hz. Utilities-wise, much better. More monitors ports (HDMI, mini display, thunderbolt), 64GB ram max, slightly lighter

As an aero15 user, I would avoid Gigabyte laptops because of its warranty and customer service. It's really hard to get your laptop fixed.
I agree as a fellow Aero 15 user. My screen and keyboard stopped working and it's difficult to source the parts or get it done by local repair shops. I have to connect my laptop to an external monitor and use it like a PC.

At this point I would wait for a 4060 which should be released in the next month or so.

I checked that this one display is not that good. Model KEz has better one, but would be more expensive I guess.
