Went to Lowe's where there was 3 left. None there when I arrived, but 200+ available at warehouse. So the Lowe's employee in appliance section ordered it in store with free delivery. It showed the low price in their system. Also picked up 5 year service contract as Samsung does have questionable compressors. That was another $150.

dual ice makers?!? I've never had a fridge where the ice maker didn't have to be repaired/replaced at least twice. Seems like asking for trouble...

@willnpc I've had a Samsung fridge for going roughly 10 years and it has been running like a champ no issues so far.

Appliances are surely are not built like they use to, but Samsung has been reliable in my experience (also have stove, washer/drier/dishwasher).

Glad your experience has been great, I wish I could say the same, we bought a home recently with all brand new high end Samsung appliances, two of the four are having some issues already in under 2 years, but because of a really good deal I bought a new Samsung refrigerator, love it so far just concerned I need more warranty, so does anyone know of a good place to add more years of warranty after purchase? Thanks

Just bought a Samsung fridge similar to this this one. Its a lemon. Compressor went out and than a horrible leak in the kitchen after the warranty ended. Now the damn ice makers is broken. Run away. Wouldn't touch it if it was free. Ruined my remodeled kitchen and headache dealing with warranty is a nightmare.

I had a 5 years ext warranty from lowes when I purchased my Samsung fridge Had 5 service calls. Lucky I purchased to ext warranty

If its like Frigidaire, they will email and send out mail flyers reminding you about your warranty expiring and to renew it. Even if you got a year left on the extended warranty.
