Gonna sell my 12 year old fridgedaire for $400 now. Had it listed and had a few offers. The Samsung is replacing a garage fridge. No ice maker or water dispenser needed. I might run a line to it someday from the RO system.
One thing I hate is that Lowe's always advertise their appliance savings using MSRP at $2800 when really it is never listed at that price.

Am I the only one????
Likewise on one short term power outage it went into demo mode turning off cooling but still reading 0 and 37 on door. Luckily we caught it ourselves and reset it.
In short probably every brand has issues anymore but definitely skip Samsung if you can
And they did.
They sent out a Samsung tech, swapped out a number of parts including the motherboard and the entire ice maker area. I signed for a bill over 1k at the end that was taken care of by Samsung, as it should have been.
My understanding is the ice maker freezing up is a known issue and Samsung is prone to fixing it in lieu of admitting the known issue.
Just my experience. It's been a few years since the repairs where done on the fridge and I've never had to even pull out the freezer drawer once to unblock ice.
For me, I am happy with my 2k purchase. Granted just 1 persons experience with a Samsung product and their support.
