Went to Lowe's where there was 3 left. None there when I arrived, but 200+ available at warehouse. So the Lowe's employee in appliance section ordered it in store with free delivery. It showed the low price in their system. Also picked up 5 year service contract as Samsung does have questionable compressors. That was another $150.

dual ice makers?!? I've never had a fridge where the ice maker didn't have to be repaired/replaced at least twice. Seems like asking for trouble...

I have a French door Samsung fridge with ice maker. I had to clean it out (thaw ice) because it stopped making ice. After a few times of doing this, I leveled the fridge and completely thawed the ice maker and never had a problem again (I used a hair dryer to completely thaw the unit behind the ice tray).

Showing limited stock near me. Currently have a similar Samsung fridge that has issues. Not sure about replacing with another.

Get the new bespoke fridge. Samsung purchased Dacor several years ago and the new Bespoke fridges are rebranded Dacor with Samsung logo. Ice maker is in the freezer. Dacor is an American company and is quality!

Smart move to buy the service contract and extra guarantee! I got this fridge a while ago and after few months It was leaking, so it was fixed by Samsung under guarantee, and then after that few months It leaked again, and they fixed again. They have to fixed it 3 times for leakings, fans stop moving, so they decided to replace the whole fridge. After replacement, the problems are still there, so they decided to refund my money and take the fridge away. My case was an odd case according to them, but I was lucky to get my money back but never thought of buying SAMSUNG fridges anymore. Checking on Consumers Reports most of Samsung fridges got bad ratings except very few. Therefore, if consumers love Samsung Designs buying extra guarantee services is a very smart move. However, when troubles occur that could create food waste due to broken fridges, time consuming for services add up the cost, so I decided to stay away from Samsung.

good fridge.. BUT beware there's a class action lawsuit since the freezer/ice maker breaks around month 13... Samsung has been fixing them but it's a pain to keep having tech out.. mine is on the 4th repair now!

"leveled" meaning completely straight? most fridges require a slight down in the back level (doors higher than the rear).. curious as I'm on my 4th repair!

Don't buy Samsung, it's not worth the headache. No Samsung appliances, no LG ranges, no GE anything, no Whirlpool washing machines. Stay far away otherwise get the stores extended warranty, don't buy directly from the manufacturer, they'll just keep sending someone out to fix it. The store's will let you pick something else out after a bunch of repairs or refund your money.

Stay away from Samsung refrigerators. They are built cheaply and don't last long. Please do research before buying an appliance and avoid those professional written articles that start with... Top (whatever number) refrigerators to buy.

I also had these in rentals, 4 years strong in 8 units. No issues of samsungs fault.

My mom recently got this refrigerator and I thought I would mention that there is no external light around the water or ice dispenser on the outside of the fridge. I've literally never seen a refrigerator with a water dispenser that didn't have some kind of lighting option so I thought I'd mentioned it here. A great fridge otherwise!
