Further, there has been zero firmware updates and the LG Soundbar App is so finicky, would not always recognize the connection and you have to reset to reconnect the soundbar - you can read up on this on the play/apple store, with all the reviews mostly 1 out of 5 stars.
Highly recommend against this system. Feel free to try for yourself, but you will experience all of the above as mentioned.

It's not for everyone, but for a lot of people, it's great value.

There's a reason for the $500 discount. LG knows there is a wifi defect in this. It throws off your 5ghz signal and can also affect streaming. Read the low rated reviews on Amazon.
The disadvantage seems obvious, paying sales tax on $500 twice.
