My wife bought this piece of crap a couple months ago. In her defense she thought it would be fun for our kids. Well one waffle every 5 or so minutes with kids that can eat 3 - 4 each means you either eat them as soon as they come off and wait for more or wait until a bunch are made and they are all cold.

For $6 though you can buy 3 or 4 but your money would be way better spent on a full size waffle maker or one that does four minis at once. Good stocking stuffer for someone you don't really like though.

I have the dash version but it is time consuming to make them one at a time. Upgraded to multi 4 count waffle maker, much more convenient

Ordered but only store pickup option available to me.
I had noticed that for free shipping it said only to Best Buy 'members'.
I had a Best Buy account, but wasn't sure I was a 'member', but when I checked, it did show a member ID number.
As it turned out, I did order and free shipping was available.
It may be that you're not a 'member' or it may be your particular zip code or location doesn't work for free shipping. Hard to say.

Been a 'member' all along. It never gave the option to ship. However I just went to the order and was able to switch order pick up to shipping. At least that worked Smilie

Buying four of this single waffle maker 4x$6 = $24. What are the pros/cons of having four single waffle makers vs one large (make 4 at once) waffle maker?

Do these release smoke when cooking? Looking for something for the dorm that doesn't accidentally set off the fire alarm haha

pro: 4 of the small ones are technically cheaper
con: you'll need 4 plugs to plug in 4 of the singles. that means you'll probably need a power strip to plug all of them in. 4 singles might also use more power than 1 large maker. also, with one large maker, you can pour the batter all at once for 4 waffles, whereas for the singles, you'll have to pour one at a time, and then keep track of when they finish individually. also, 4x the cleaning and takes more to store when not using it and more counterspace to use when they are all set up with 4 cords and the power strip running all over.

Also the multi one has convenient drip trays on the sides if you put too much batter. Extra batter turns into shaped waffle sticks.
