Weirdos like me who like way longer battery life and to be able to put them around my neck when they aren't in use.
I got a pair of these for falling asleep listening to audio books. The sound quality
It's is pretty low, but about what I expected for 10 bucks. The battery life was atrocious though. Fully charged when I go to sleep, and completely dead by morning even after the audio stopped playing within 30 minutes (sleep mode). I have had several other pairs similar over the years and they usually last 3-5 nights like this.
This. And weirdos that don't want devices communicating with each other through their brains… Good thing it can't get through my tin foil hat

Also these are harder to lose than an earbud, even earbuds in a case. And even if the ANC is mediocre, it's still an extra feature that budget earbuds don't have. Bought one for my wife to try out.
I actually prefer this form factor, especially if I am lying in bed. Much easier to remove as they just stay attached to you. Secondly, the weight of almost all TWS buds, including Airpods Pro, gives me a splitting headache within about 30 mins - maybe my ears are too darn sensitive to pressure or something!
I have a pair of Beyerdynamic Blue Byrd 2, which has a more explicit neckband and is great except for somewhat low battery life and some unexpected reliability issues (first pair died in 8 months). Buying this just to see how it works in comparison to the BBB2.

Random question: anyone have experience with these in a sauna? I had an old pair of Chinese wireless ear buds that could last 15 min in there without shutting down. My Bose and AirPods Pro shut down in 5 minutes. I'll buy 10 of these if they can last.
