Same price since November. Actually, like hundreds if not thousands of super-extended-holiday "Special Buy" active sale prices on HomeDepot.com right now, the prices are valid from Oct 24, 2022 to Jan 29, 2023(oops typo) Jan 26, 2023 (or until sold out), if you View the Page Source of the product page (Ctrl-U on desktop Chrome or Firefox), where HD conveniently lists the sale start and end dates.

This whisper fan seems to remedy 2 major gripes I have with my old Arctic Cove misting fans which has the same fan/motor mechanism as the previous Ryobi P3320 non-whisper hybrid 7.5" fan (I bought mine due to the $20 clearance price, didn't care for the mist). That fan was loud and rumbly at high speed (like a Vornado air circulator fan) but weak at low speed, but then it needed a torquey motor to overcome ambient wind so it wasn't ideal for indoor use where it could drown out conversation.

Picked this fan up a few months ago and it's surprisingly good. Pretty strong air flow and seems pretty sturdy. Wanted something portable for some outdoor trips and this should be perfect.

I hung this from the top of my tent camping and it lasted all night on a 4ah battery. That was also after having used it a bit during the day. I was shocked.
On low or some other setting?

Reading the Q&A on Homedepot.com and it says the 2ah battery may last 8 to 10 minutes? Can anyone confirm this?
It will last longer than that, especially if it's not on high.

This is a great deal , the battery alone costs $40-$50 on its own so getting the fan is a nice deal.

How long approximately? Is 8-10 minutes a typo? I would expect hours as opposed to minutes on a 2ah, but it's hard to find a definitive answer.

I've used their one+ fan with the mister all last summer. Although I haven't timed it specifically with the 2ah battery, my estimate is you can run this fan only model at least 3-4 hours on the included battery. EDIT- Just went to Q&A section on the product page and Ryobi / Heather answered the same questions with 8-10 minutes. They're smok'in_Dohp on that answer. LOL.

I love mine. Using 2ah battery on medium I got over 4 hours at the beach with one bar left. It moves a lot of air on medium. High you are really getting blown if it's right next to you.

Anyone compare it to the ridgid fan? I liked the warranty on ridgid so that's what I've used but bought it maybe 4 years ago now.... never heard the whisper series stuff in person!
I have both. Ryobi blows harder on max. Ridgid has infinitely virable control. If you want max blast, get the green one. If you want a light breeze for hours, get the orange one.

Great little rugged fan that I carry almost everywhere. Runs for a long time on setting "2" (Middle setting) with a 2ah battery. This was super helpful when working in humid / hot environments all day when you just need that extra bit of airflow. Plus the battery is basically more expensive than this so its as if you're getting the fan for free.

This is a very nice fan. I've been using one for the past week, and I'm hoping it lasts longer than the smaller clip-on fan which died after only a few hours of use.

Exactly what I do is copy the product name/description from the thread subject. laugh out loud
It takes away from SD's redirect, though.

So I bought this because dewalt started to remove the AC plug from their newer fan units.

Pros:
-30% more (noticable) more air flow than the older ryobi fan when I placed them side-by-side, on max setting.
-4 settings vs 3 setting (on older unit)
-more airflow than pre-2022 dewalt, pre-2019 milwaukee,pre-2022 ryobi, makia, craftsman, hercules fans I have tested/tried instore.
-two 4ah batteries will give you all day coverage on max speed. (I got this fan free w/ two 4ah battery purchase of $99.99)

Cons:
-Selection speed vs infinite varible speed switch like dewalt and rigid.
It is whisper quiet on low for a month, then an annoying humm or rubbing/ticking noise develops...I had a second fan make noise right out the box new.

A solid fan for half the price of the competitors...just dont buy if you have really great hearing and humming annoys you.
