something to keep in mind is that you want at least eero that has backhaul capability (ethernet jacks), which this does. basically that is the remote eeros can either plug directly into the router eero (daisy chain) or into the same ethernet network.

Agree, 3 would cost $450 and still require $70 subscription fee a year. This is outrageous

Even though it says 75 devices, it craps out at 20 devices. I was having connection issues and called my ISP and told me that I have too many devices connected to the router and it can only handle 20 devices. I purchased an eero extender and the issues went away.

If you have an eero pro 6, it will not have an issue with 20 or 75 devices. Your ISP wasn't correct about that part. You may have needed another eero to extend your network to solve connection issues. Many issues can also be solved by turning off "Optimize for Conferencing and gaming" and WPA3. Turning "Client Steering" on or off could help (it's good to try both). Adding one of the other models of eero as an extender will work fine but, in your particular case, adding another eero pro 6 would give you the best performance.

I was using one Pro 6 for a year or more without issue until my neighbor got an Xfinity gateway that broadcasts their WiFi + Xfinity's public WiFi. I had to add an additional Pro 6 to stabilize my network.

For others considering eero, it's best to use as few eeros as possible in your home. Each additional wireless (not wired backhaul) eero will slow your network. Also, the Eero Pro 6 has better hardware than the Eero Pro 6e and is more stable. Eero recently cut their cheaper priced basic secure plan, and some features are behind a higher priced subscription.
