Doesn't seem as deep as one would think from the photos.

Scroll down and they're at the bottom of the page.
Interestingly, I can see no reviews using my laptop's Chrome browser. I was only able to see the reviews by using my safari browser on my iPhone. Weird.

This was on the Frontpage a few days ago at 20 dollars. Now up to 30. Glad I grabbed it then.

I'm sure that was the shallow version, which is still $20.70 right now.

The ToughSystem 2.0 cases are excellent; I have zero complaints, but the metal latches on these rust and can cut you, and aren't that great at keeping water out. I don't recommend these at all, even at $30.

Can you remove some of the dividers so you can put some channel locks and linesman pliers in there?
Yes, the dividers can be removed, but there is a slight ridge (maybe 1/8"). When fully removed, the drawer isn't completely smooth.

Good catch! The Amazon note on mobile didn't show it as variation/style difference.

Yep! I've customized a lot of my TSTAK cases for a variety of items in this way. They even make foam inserts that you could trim to any shape.

I would agree, however, I didn't see that same complaint repeated. I wonder if that person just got a lemon?

Is the ToughSystem 2.0 much better than the original ToughSystem? A couple years ago I bought the ToughSystem 226 socket set. People were complaining about the case cracking. So I had it delivered to Home Depot for pickup, in the event it was a delivery service issue, but sure enough the case was cracked. I returned it - thinking the case would not hold up well over time. I wonder how the TSTAK case compares in terms of strength to ToughSystem original and 2.0. (It's hard to keep track of all the versions, lol.)

I've read more than just a few reviews on this item, on other sites. Nope! He's not the only one. Strange that everyone didn't complain about it, but there were more than just a few.
