Any issues with the foam marking guitar finishes?

I have a K&M Guardian stand that uses soft translucent rubber.. But I could definitely use more room.

Very popular guitar rack. Very sturdy. Price is cheaper than 2020 sale, get $5 store-credit if you use Musicians Friends account.

How'd you get the store credit?? I didn't see it, though this is still a fantastic deal without the $5

FYI, since I didn't know others might not either without digging a bit. This stand comes with 5 yokes to support 5 guitars, each expansion includes one yoke, so this deal ships a stand that can support 7 guitars.

EDIT: Each expansion is normally $14, and this stand supports 10 at most (probably depends on the thickness of each guitar on how many will actually fit for each person, eg no way 10 acoustics will fit).

Create a Musicians Friend account and enroll in their rewards program. The $5 (8%) will be credited to your account after about 60-90 days. Basically Musicians Friend offers 8% credit to all purchases through their rewards program.

I have had one of these on the list, I have a bunch of the cheap and crappy/unstable $10 stands(which I no longer use... if a guitar isn't on a Hercules on on the bench, it is in it's case), and 2 of the Hercules GS414Bs which are awesome single guitar stands. Getting more of the 414s would suck because they are ~$60 each after tax and being able to store up to 10 guitars would take WAY more space while being less stable than a rack. After looking around I had to order one of these, both considering cost to store this many guitars while being more stable and taking less room, its a no brainer, even when NOT on sale. The package selling for $70 in this post (for me, because tax at MF) would normally go for $143(not including tax, because Sweetwater). Even spending $143 for one of these is a no brainer vs. the other options I was considering... at least until I have time to mount some good guitar hangers on the wall. Here was the best review I found, but it didn't take much to sway me since my experiences with Hercules stands already: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4xBSeV11WQ

EDIT: One thing, I will miss the neck locks like on my single Herc stands... I will try the stand out first as is... and see if there is a way to swap out the default yolks with some locking ones like on the singles, but locking yokes that don't require downforce... not sure if that is even a thing. It look like they may not be necessary though given the angle of the guitar keeping it secure. Also, until I saw that video, I expected this stand to require some assembly and come in a relatively small box. NOPE, this thing comes fully assembled in a big ass box... so might be hard to hide if anyone is home when your new toy gets delivered. "Oh what this? I just pulled it out of the closet, I have had it for years!" probably won't work if you get caught on delivery Big Grin.

Yes, I have this stand. Poly finish is fine. One one my nitro guitars was burned at point of contact

I have this stand and like it. It's not super sturdy, but it works great for a home collection. https://imgur.com/a/yF6kqW1

Wonder if I can use this as a bike rack... The foam "fingers" will prevent scratching wheels
