Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
I had ordered the b&h deal earlier today but then quickly changed my mind and cancelled the order as I decided that the price was to close the WD Black deal going around at $170. This drops the price just enough to make it worth saving a few dollars in exchange for a little less performance compared to the WD Black deal.
Granted nvme sales keep dropping prices so I bet in 2 weeks I will regret this purchase.

Happened to me last week. I purchased a SteelSeries headset from Amazon that was on sale for $190, 2 days later it dropped to $140. I wind up changing my mind and cancelling the order but I wish more companies would implement a price match guarantee

agree decided on WD as well. Top of the line and only a little more $.
Edit: I'm tempted by the 1TB's for my motherboards one Gen 4. NVMe slot then use my 1TB in one of the two Gen 3 slots for games/colder storage. But as people have said seems like prices are dropping, hoping it won't be long until a quality full speed Gen 4 1TB is more like $70-$75. then even scoop up a 2TB Gen 3 for closer to $50-$60.

Not a good price for the speed you get 5,600 Read and 2600 write speed is not good for 150 bucks you might as well add $20 and get at least 7,000 read and 6,500 write speed

Price looks pretty good for a higher end NVMe disk with a good controller and a 5-year warranty.
Edit, you'll also need a heatsink

It's $80 on Amazon (they claim 14% off) while the faster PNY XLR8 CS3140 1TB on Amazon is $90
