SanDisk is generally better and more trusted, and currently $4 cheaper. They also have a 10 year warranty on many models.

Looks like a candidate for the Steam Desk even though it is probably too small.

In bits or bytes? Lol

I'll check when mine arrives, but that's still several days away.

I wouldn't recommend it. There are other cheaper cards with similar or better speeds.

The main feature of these cards is their better endurance which really doesn't apply to a Steam Deck unless you are constantly deleting and installing games every day.

By my own past 6 years of experience I completely disagree.
My dash cam / action cam won't even run reliably, or at all, on SanDisk cards, while for approx the past 6 years it has performed flawlessly on Samsung cards.
It wasn't just my particular dash cam either. Many wouldn't run on Sandisk cards.

SanDisk's longer 'warranty' to me is completely meaningless, as the real value is in your data & pics/videos. It's a meaningless 'sales pitch' to me.
It didn't do me one bit of good to get a 'warranteed replacement' of a SanDisk card after it had wiped out all my valuable video footage I had on that card.

This would be the equivalent: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-En...B07P4HBRMV

Still a couple dollars cheaper but I'd rather buy from the manufacturer direct than Amazon and risk getting a fake.

So this is about where the price was in October. Are things still dropping in price or should I just pull the trigger? Debating if I really need 256 or if I can make due with 128 and wait...

My 6K recording 360 camera is hog storage hungry. 1 hr recording took 64 GB away. I need something bigger now.
